How far does Clemson go with having their starting dline all going first round? There’s a Clemson fan on here so I’m sure he could weigh in.

I think they go 15-0 and win the National Title. Their defense is legit.

The DL is not all going first round (possibly three of them).
The D is stacked for Clemson this year, especially at the line. The DL is a lot more than just those first four guys. That defense should be fun to watch this year, especially with all of the crazy depth we have at the DL... you are going to see Clemson roll three deep on defense and just punish some teams.
Like the other poster said, to beat Alabama, we will need an explosive offense that can stress their D and keep them off balance. Either Kelly B needs to channel his inner Montana or the Kid takes the job from him.

I don’t follow Clemson but objective people I know who do say the DL is legit. Also, they have two good qb’s. They should have no problem winning the acc and with no more than one random loss, they are probably the surest playoff bet.

Yes its a weaker ACC this year on paper that we should dominate. I think BC will be much better than #34.
Stats can be tricky things...

Clemson - 7
USC - 4
We won't be tested by an elite team this year in the regular season, but could easily lose a game if we get complacent or have a bad day (Syracuse?!?).

They will probably have to go through Bama to win the championship so I would say that is it deserved if they win.

Auburn - 3
Auburn plays 3 of the top 5 teams in the country in the regular season alone. None are home games. Let that sink in. Then just for fun, throw in 3 more top 25 teams in the SEC west AU also plays.
Flip AU and Clemsons schedule and AU is basically a lock for the playoff and Clemson looks doubtful.
shite, bama is probably doubtful to make the playoff with AUs schedule (since bama cant play themselves they have to play AU at JH for that spot - probably a loss).

That easy schedule will only take you so far. They have to win the title games then 2 playoff games. They do that then they more than earn it.
