Nah. It's a start with 8 teams in and multiple winning in the first round.

shite happens. Just ask our whole damn bracket.

Disagree. The fact that the middle of the pack in the SEC even made the tournament represents an improvement from the times only three teams got in.

We will see. The sec was full of a bunch of 12-15 loss teams that made the tournament

The big ten and pac 12 were inordinately bad this year.

Maybe this is a starting point for the conference but o could see a correction to the mean next year

It's still the best program in the conference getting lucky arse shite thrown their way. Nothing against UK right now though. They're finally hitting shots.

There were some good teams in the SEC the year but parity seems to be everywhere except the PAC 12

Can't help but feel like this tournament is a lost opportunity for the SEC though.

SEC was better on average than all the other conferences

The top of the SEC wasn't as good as all the others

SEC should be significantly better at the top next year. Probably 7-8 tournament teams though

Damn it wasn't an all-SEC Elite 8? SEC must suck.

I think this tournament proved exactly what most of us thought - a lot of solid teams, not really any legit championship contenders.

Since 2006 UF has 2 NC's, 3 Final Fours and 7 Elite 8's. 29-7 in our tournament games. Not a whole lot of schools that can match those numbers. We've held our own.

Painful wondering what might have been if Auburn had just sat their shitty playing starters against USC in the 2nd half. That injury was like chopping our dick off. UT has no excuse.

WHEREAS Florida beat Kentucky at home and on the road.
WHEREAS Florida henceforth gets to claim any future glory and/or accomplishments.
WHEREAS I'm sad and I hope Kentucky does well.

I can see how you think that in year one of Auburn's come up, but Auburn and Pearl are finna win a lot of games together over the next several years.

Dude I think most agreed that the SEC was full of good teams without any necessarily great teams

And the SEC went 6-2 in the first round so it's not like this tournament was a dud the way it was for the Pac-12 or the ACC minus Duke and UNC

Besides, about Kentucky, I'm pretty sure UF would have beaten Davidson and Buffalo

SEC basketball wasn’t top heavy this year. It just had an overall increase in talent and depth. That was proven to be true when 8 teams got in and 6 won their first round matchup.

Except McLemore broke his leg in the 1st half against USCjr. It was only like 7 or 8 minutes into the game I think.
