Bama is paying more for Avery Johnson than we are for Anderson. 2.8 I believe.

We won by one point at home over Ok State without their two best players playing after losing by 30 to them last year.

If we have "tournament success", i.e. a sweet 16 or better without a NC, it's just more reason to be aggravated with Mike's coaching job. Why do we have to limp into the tournament with a sweet 16 or better-caliber team??
This team really had the makings to be one of the best we've had since the 90's, and does have the ability to shock some people and go on a fairly deep tourney run. But by not showing up to around a quarter of our games, we're limping in with what, a 9 seed at best as of now? If we would've won more the games we were supposed to, we wouldn't be fighting for our life in the 2nd round (not that a 8 vs 9 seed game is easy to get past in the first place.)
Now if they pull off the impossible and make a final 4 or even bring home a natty, it'll be pretty tough to bitch at that point. But still....limping into the tourney at a 8-9 seed with a final 4 team. Wtf, Mike.
And yes, teams have made the final 4 from 8-9 seeds (I think?). But you can say the same thing about those teams, "Why the underperformance during the regular season?" Doesn't mean they should always get a pass for the underperformance by pulling a tourney run out of their arse.

How are our Texas Tech fans doing?
Tech now has lost 4 in a row, including a loss to a team Arkansas beat. They have the same conference record as Arkansas, and play in a conference with fewer projected tournament teams.
