Damn Georgia Fans

I have spent a bit of time in Ga and I must say the UGA fanbase (leg humpers) might be in serious contention for the most delusional fan base. I have never seen anything like it. These guys literally talk like they are Notre Dame, Ohio State or Bama, but have the trophy case of Vanderbilt. I understand being excited about your program.....but know your place and who you've been, which is 1 chip(1980) and usually a 9-3 10-2 -8-4 type of program. I saw a UGA fan say " I wonder what Saban is going to do now that he doesn't have the best talent". We literally have like 7 consecutive #1 classes they finally get 1 and now their the biggest powerhouse known to man. I know a lot of you guys don't really come in contact with UGA fans but trust me when I say they really believe they are on Bama's level already and are extremely delusional. Hard to question a legend like Nick Saban but I truly believe if Tua starts we beat them soundly and exploit their awful secondary all night, that close win gave them a moral victory and hope. I'm extremely happy about the Natty but hate we left them optimistic about their season: frick Uga and RollTide Baby

They would be Ole Miss without Herschel. One of the most entitled fanbases in the country without the trophy case to back it up.
Awful fans.

Georgia fans are very underrated, especially on the Rant, in terms of shitty fans. My encounters with them when UGA came to Tuscaloosa in '07 and in the '12 SECCG were pretty shitty for the most part. As obnoxious as any fanbase I've ever met.

Their roster is absolutely loaded, and we eked out a 3 point win before they signed 1/3 of the best 25 players in the country.
They are very, very good.

I'm enjoying it. When they again fail to the NC next year they'll try to burn the place down.

They are good, but the point is that they think they are leaps and bounds ahead of Bama when Bama still has the highest quantity of talent.

Went to college where Uga and OSU fans were most numerous for the cfb segment.

Everybody is the next Bama until they get their asses handed to them. LSU, Clemson, etc. Georgia is just next in line.

Meh....so fricking what quit being such a cuck.....Bama has signed the last 7 seven #1 classes and have some guys who can play as well. We put Tua in and stomped their arse in the second half.
Their fans are pretty much douchebags for the most part. They actually make me appreciate Auburn fans.

My wife's family are big UGA fans. Let's just say UGA went from neutral/semi-liked, to perhaps the SEC fanbase I dislike the most outside of AU. I literally pull against them every game now outside of when it helps us.
Crappy fanbase for the most part in my experience. As others have said, they have the arrogance of Alabama with the trophy case of Vandy.

Sure, but until that class takes the field and does something, they should stfu. Being excited about where your program is headed is one thing, declaring victory before any of these players have played a down is another. I'm sure most SEC fanbases would be acting like jackasses if they'd brought in the class UGA did, though.

They have every right to be excited. They just won their 1st SECC in a decade and played in the NCG, plus signed the #1 class. But they act like they're the kings of the SEC and nation now. Comments like "there's a new sheriff in town" after NSD, etc. Like dudes, it's literally been almost 40 years since you won the natty...cool your jets and wait until you win one before you proclaim that you have surpassed Saban and Alabama.
Bama needs to give the pups a beatdown in ATL come December as a reminder of their place in the pecking order. And then go sign the #1 class.

Excitement? They are arrogant and flippant, gong as far as to insulti Saban as being nothing without Kirby.
They seem to resent Alabama.

The biggest problem I experience with UGA fans (My office is full of them. The perils of living around Atlanta) is that many of them try to pretend they are a blue blood like us, USC, Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, and Notre Dame. Any hint of actual success like those programs have experienced just emboldens them. If the unthinkable happens and Kirby actually wins a championship they will become the most insufferable fanbase in the country by a mile.

Seems like we have some asswipes in our own fanbase.

It was a totally different game with Tua playing QB instead of Hurts. Outscored them 26-10 in only 2 quarters and one overtime.
Have to wonder what that would have been with Tua playing 4 quarters.

There were a few things I witnessed right after Tua threw the pass.
I watch people carefully at football games as they tend to almost break it seems. A 40 year old something women yelled at me and my family called us “fricking cheaters”. Almost like we were playing on the field.
Another cherry blossom yelled a series of profanity at us, something along the lines of it’s not over, watch your backs, your in ATL this is our turf etc. Her BF was wearing a Bama shirt, god bless him.
Lastly a full grown man was literally crying in his hands sitting in seat, no big deal. But then he stands up and starts running his mouth about us being cheaters, I actually think he was with girl A. I let it go the first time and then the second time I told him to move along. He did but I had the sensation he was going to come looking for trouble, he was wasted, and about 50 lbs overweight. Luckily for him he didn’t and just flicked us off.
After the ceremony we headed to the small gift shop down stairs selling the natty shirts and hats. I grabbed a few and we went outside. You literally couldn’t find a Georgia fan anywhere, it was insane. Not a soul it was like a ghost town. This is exactly what happened in 2011-2012 against LSU. Not a soul. Long story short but not a single one of their fans said congrats or gave a handshake. They are pretty bad.

I deal with a bunch of really good Georgia people on a day to day basis.
They have a very Bammerish fanbase on the fringes, though.

Yep. Y’all about summed them up. Delusional and chippy. Ready to fight over anything. All hat, no cowboy. They are certainly among the top 3 fan bases as ranked for shittiness. Can’t stand ‘em.

In what was one of the weakest classes I’ve seen in the past few years.
Besides we started the wrong QB and return a helluva lot more experience than them.
I live in Atlanta and can confirm what OP is saying.
