BPI gives us a 51.3% chance of winning. It will be a tough environment in Coleman Coliseum. I'm expecting a loss eventually, and I hope it's not to Alabama, I could see it. Bama is talented enough

We "should" win for sure. I'm just expecting bounces to not go our way at some point and a loss will happen. They are a tough defensive team. It will be a fight for sure.

Seems like the perfect spot for us to have a loss - it's basketball, losses happen

that being said, we keep finding ways to win

Auburn wins a close one in a hostile environment

Don't want to lose this one. If we did it'll be considered a good loss or average loss at the end of the year. Won't hurt us but man a win would mean a lot

Boat Race 89-73 AU!

Without Donta Hall, they'll have to rely on Sexton for everything. We have the much better team and I don't forsee a letdown. We'll be ready

I fully expected to lose this past weekend so I am now not sure if I should be more confident in a win this week or now fully expect the stumble to happen

Still really hard for me to trust AU bball despite how impressive this team has been. Sexton will get his but if we limit their offense to only Sexton & get to the foul line I like our chances. Would love to dominate this game

We can’t dick around and score 24 in the first half... then rely on a 50+ point 2nd half to carry us. This crowd will be the most hostile we’ve faced.

I was cool with us splitting these last two road games, so whatever happens wed is fine with me... but damn 5-0 would be so sweet.

Or him trying to do too much like a lone ranger.. That's what gives us the edge. We play much better as a team than they do and they'll be missing 1 of their only 2 go-to options.. from what they've shown up to this point.

Losing Hall is the equivalent of 11 ppg but that's nothing Sexton and Petty can't make up for on any given night. They'll feel his absence the most on the glass where he averages 7 rpg. With our luck, Braxton Key returns to his form from last year and puts up 12-15 on us

These slow starts are going to bite us in the arse eventually... Hopefully not against Bama.

As long as we eliminate stupid turnovers and improve our shot selection we will win. Those are the reasons we fell behind early in the last two games.

Donta Hall being out is huge IMO. He leads the team in both rebounds and blocks per game. Giddens can't seem to stay out of foul trouble, but I'm guessing Galin Smith picks up some extra minutes and they run with some smaller lineups. Should help us get into the lane a bit more.

Im guessing we win something like 74-62 but its a road rivalry game so who really knows.

He's a much bigger part of their offense than you give credit. He is shooting an absurd 75% 2FG and somehow one of their better FT shooters at 65% ( ) The KenPom Ortg for Hall is a stupid high 125.9 (Higher than any other Bama or even AU player).... the replacement Giddens is 99.7 which is lower than all other Bama starters + lower than any AU player

They'll feel his absence the most

I'd say it is rim protection moreso than rebounding. Donta Hall has been an elite shot blocker his entire career and is #28 nationally in KenPom's Block%. The more impressive part of that is Hall only averages about 3.1 fouls / 40m this year which makes him especially dangerous.

While Giddens is an adequate replacmeent rim protector, Giddens averages 8.6 fouls per 40min ( ). That would leave them with freshmen Galin Smith/Alex Reeese who are huge steps down in rim protection while also liabilities fouling the shite out of opponents.

While I imagine it will hurt, Bama has some replacement length/big bodies that have hurt us in recent games + Dazon Ingram which who is an elite backcourt rebounder. That said, I don't see their young, inexperienced front court getting position or out hustling our crafty undersized bigs.

I think Braxton Key is overrated AF and not a good player. Unfortunately, he has the potential to be great in those rare games he isn't a moron. I definitely could see him putting 15 on us and never doing it again all year

Auburn hasn't had a decent basketball team in 15 years, and you're expecting me to have a feeling about the game?

I guess a loss. 15 points. Everything falls apart after this one.
