I watch Bama a lot.. they have a lot of talent all the way down their roster. They rely on Sexton too much.. lots of standing and watching when he has the ball. He reminds me of Russell Westbrook in that he is crazy talented and will put up numbers but I'm actually pretty sure the team would be better without him. That said, if Petty can get hot and Key can be...not awful, they will be a tough out.

Got to define "talent"

They have a handful of "high ceiling" players but very few players who are effectively using their talent

#EwingTheory

I know what you're trying to say, that he has a negative effect due to other players not having/playing their role.

I'll just say that it is year 3 and Avery Johnsons offense has been no better than Grants. Outside of Retin/Sexton playing well, they have had nothing that resembles coherent offensive sets

I agree, but hard to imagine that happens.

Knowing Auburns luck though, I am almost expecting it

I trust our team to show up. Our guys know what is at stake safe will arrive in Tuscaloosa motivated. We've had two poor first halves on a row and I don't think it'll be a third.

Retin Obasohan was a baller his last year at Alabama it was wild and unexpected by me based off what we had seen earlier in his career

I'll just say that Retin scored 10+ points and 5rpg in 11 of his final 12 games under Grant

I didn't know that was a thing until recently. It just dispels the "Avery Johnson turned Retin into a scoring machine" argument

They've had some really cold games where they haven't gotten out of the 60s. They'll need 75+ to beat us

its interesting that early in the year we were building big first half leads, then lost it then turned it on in second half to win. Now we go down double digits to SEC teams in first half then explode in the second half to win.

We can't do this in a rivalry game. If we are down double digits end of first half, we will not overcome it.

Make Sexton work for his 30, and make sure we guard and defend strong the supporting guys. Go hard to the board.

And play steady and smart..then we win.
