The Ncaa will be back within 2 years. Book it. The Ncaa acknowledged there is a "culture of corruption" at Ole Miss. They know the boosters will immediately be back doing what they always do only this time you will be on probation when you get caught and your program will get hit even harder.

What a slap on the wrist. Ole Miss will be back to blatantly giving out gift cards to recruits at churches in a matter of months.

NCAA taking it extremely light on them.

According to the press conference, the Sharks will be appealing this decision. Read back when this all got heated that any appeal would extend the case to mid to late Jan. Close to NSD. Sharks need to bite the bullet & move on & leave the NCAA's alone. Till next time, anyway.

hubreb , you just mad that I was right while you and your clown buddies were being misled. In fact I think you're the true cocksucker. You sucked off Yancy and Bjork and Freeze etc and believed everything they told you. You even bent over and said "Oh thank you, can you put it in some more please?"

What we've learned is that the money has to be laundered though people with pre-existing relationships.

Gotta keep it clean from now on.

More likely that Ole Miss will harbor a deep, personal grudge against MSU, and will do anything to see MSU suffer. Thus, things will probably make a return to the way things were in the 90’s, with half the conference on probation and everyone turning on everyone else.

I can’t believe that the sanctions aren’t heavier. But, they’re heavy enough that Ole Miss will seek revenge. Against MSU and whomever else they hold responsible. It’s going to get even uglier—far uglier— before it’s all said and done.

That may not be so bad. With all the money at stake now, you start trying to put a bunch of big programs on probation and we might actually see a change and players start getting paid (like they should)

Maybe we need to all just cheat out in the open. Dare them to do something and force a change. An uprising.

If only we had a school in the conference that had fans with enough balls to take matters in their own hands and rise up

Dude. You do realize if we all started cheating like that and paying players, that msu wouldn't stand a chance right? They don't have near the money to throw around as the big boys do. Yall would get destroyed in recruiting.

While you are 100% correct the lutz is it was not MSU that turned them in, they are just to stupid to focus on the folks that actually got them in trouble.

Even better is the fact that they are the ones who involved Leo Lewis is this from the get go, he got caught by OM staffers phone records, yet somehow he formed some grand conspiracy to do them in.

The entire fanbase needs to stop reading Yancy and Neal et all and actually form a learned opinion of their own.

The good news is this whole LL thing will be tried in court. Much more likely to get to the bottom of this.

Banning Ole Miss from meaningful post season play is sorta like banning Michael Moore from a gym.
