Does your son's or daughter's name pay homage to your alma mater?

I just saw this story about a Tennessee couple who are welcoming triplets into their family:
quote:

Boy A” will be named Knox because the father was born in Knoxville. “Boy B” will be named Neyland, after the Volunteers’ legendary Neyland Stadium. “Girl C” will be named Tennessee Grace"

Tennessee Vols fans expecting triplets; You’ll want to see the names

At Texas A&M we have our share of Kyles/Kylies, Sullivans, Gills, and Rosses, but nothing really over-the-top.

Just wonderin' whether any of you have some good stories?

Almost as trashy as naming your kids Bear, Yellow Hammer, and Alabama Slammer.

Gonna try to work toward the future Dak Cane, the first of his name, this week-end.

Wish me luck

I named my kids Krimson Tyde and Bear Saban.

It has nothing to do with my Alma Mater, Southeastern State Community College, though.

Conversely, among Mizzou basketball fans, the name "Kim" will not become popular again for 35 years.
