Payback occurs when the college funding is cut and not just for MS State.
Both higher level institutions involved will be facing cuts for allowing this mess to
get this far. Mullen should have never allowed any player to talk to the NCAA.
Short sighted but then again that seems to be a common condition in this state .

I think the true culprits of Ole Miss' downfall are trying to use State as a scapegoat

There won't be any, because there is no smoking gun. Ole Miss's problems began with unbelievable recruiting rankings, which MSU never had.

Payback? Ole miss had their hands directly in the last two investigations at Mississippi State. For all of the moaning and crying from Ole Miss fans about Leo Lewis, Ole Miss trotted out Doug Buckles to the NCAA in the investigation when Sherrill was at State. Did any female MSU boosters spend time with an NCAA investigator like Ole Miss did?
And then this tub of goo went on every radio interview that could be secured and kept embellishing stories during the inquiry into Will Redmond.
