Are they gonna try to reschedule the whole season now?

That sucks. Is he a guy that can go to the draft off an injury or is he going to have to spend an extra year in school?

Sucks for the kid! Is he still able to get a medical RS? Or should he basically start prepping for the draft now considering how long Achilles recovery takes, assuming you can recover. Devastating injury, stupid off-season

He came back after thinking about going to the draft. I would expect him to get a medical redshirt and have one more year. Bad it happened but he has a full year to get it right again and the entire next season of play.

The necessary evil of playing football. I wish players could get in football shape by watching TV.

Sorry for Mr. Harris. Ge back healthy.

I had knee reconstruction way back when. I always remember the ortho telling me that if man invented a game in which the goal was to tear up the opponents knees, it would look a lot like football

Huge blow to a secondary that will already have to replace everyone and is thin at CB.

Damn, he had really come on and was playing at a high level. Hope he gets back to full health and can have another year.

Tough news for the young man, but hope for a speedy recovery.

One of those situations where the kid will have a tough decision to make. Does he go for the 6th year or go for the draft. Achilles injuries take a long time to recover from...but they typically recover completely. Hope he has successful treatment and recovery.

That means Chauncey Gardner who played safety well last year as a back up will have to move from corner, where he was going to play in 2017, and move back to safety next to Nick Washington. He is a much better cover guy than Harris but no where close to what Harris was in run support.

The next guy up at corner is probably the JUCO Putu or RS Fr McArthur Burnett. Neither have really played the position much.

UF is one injury to Washington or Gardner from having inexperience Soph Jaewon Taylor starting at safety.

The big freshmen class UF got in the secondary last year better come in ready to play or UF is in real trouble on the back end for the first time since 2007.
