If you guys work really hard, avoid injuries and build some depth you have a good chance to be number two in Mississippi. As for OM. We should be really damn good.

LT should be a high round draft pick
C should be very good (moved from LG. I liked him more at the guard spot but Mullen and Hevesy favor experience at the C position)
the rest are meh

Nationally, Phil Steele has Bama at #2, LSU at #4, barn at #8, MO at #9, Ole Miss at #10, ut at #11, ARK at #12, UF at #24, aTm at #27, UK at #32, SC at #38, and UGA at #46. He ranks 56 total. No Vandy. No MSU.

I'm not sold on the whole Kentucky being good thing, but I am sold that their OL is much better than #32. That was a solid unit last year and they return everyone or basically everyone.

Agree. Bama DL said they were the most physical OL Bama played in 2016. Return 73 Career starts.

We have the best Center in the country but after that it's anyone's guess.
There seems to be some potentially serious talent at the Guards but they're both still pretty raw. They looked great at times last year and absolute dog shite at others. Tackle is scary as it was a revolving door last year outside of Skipper and now Skipper is gone.

As long as we are better than last year I will be alright. Our OL last year was crap.

Center is the only position I feel super confident in. With that said, I think they will be better than last year as a unit. A ton more experience than they had going into last year where we had to start a converted DT at LG.

I am. I expect our offensive line to be ranked number 2 in the country second only to bama.

Though while I do believe LSU's offensive line will be pretty good, I'm a little concerned about out tackle depth. Still not high on KJ Malone at LT.

Bama's best OL since 12.
I agree. This is the year we finely have a really, really good OL again.

Will make or break Georgia's season from the looks of it.
The weapons are there on offense, but if Eason is getting harassed that won't matter.
Good Oline play: 10-2
Mediocre to poor: 8-4/7-5

Our top two Martez Ivey (moving over from LG) and Jawaan Taylor (freshman all-american at RT last year) will be formidable. Almost no depth though.

Specifically, who is confident in their tackle situation?
Good chance Auburn is basically starting 4 guards. Darius James and Braden Smith were both at tackle at end of spring, both are probably better on interior.
Auburn has 7-8 guys who I think can play, the question is who is ready and where to play em. The ideal OL to me would be
LT - Prince Tega Wanogho
LG - Wilson Bell
C - Austin Golson
RG - Braden Smith
RT - Darius James
My guess tho is to start season you will see
LT - Darius James
LG - Wilson Bell
C - Austin Golson
RG - Mike Horton
RT - Braden Smith
We have 5* Calvin Ashley coming in who could make things interesting. There's also Marquel Harrell who was solid in spring but might be a year away and an FCS All-American transfer Casey Dunn from Samford
Long story short, lots of names still not sure which names play and where

Very confident in our OTs. Trey Smith is the real deal and Drew Richmond made great strides last year with tips/advice from Wells. Wells is now our OL coach and can coach directly instead of simply as an advice giver role which has me very excited. However, Chance Hall is amazing and if healthy may put one of the OTs in a different spot. He's been so injury plagued though who knows...
The rest have tons of experience and the OL is absolutely loaded with highly ranked guys -- depth galore (finally). I'm interested to see who winds up at center. CT had to have an appendectomy in the spring and may well have lost his spot to RG Jashon Robertson who is one of our better linemen (he won awards in years prior but last season struggled with injuries). When healthy he's consistently been very good. The new coach wants a more aggressive line and I think Robertson at center could help that happen.

Trey Smith will be playing guard.
Kendrick or Tatum at RT.
Robertson at C.
Kendrick or Jones at the other guard spot.
Richmond at LT.
Tatum and Jones seem to battling for the last spot.

You think Hall will RS if he has one available? When he's healthy, he's too good to keep off the field, imo.

Auburn's is a potential revolving door. Lots of players that are interchangeable, and a lot of talent.
Lots of experience, too. If we end up red-shirting the 5* tackle from D.C., I'll know we've got some serious depth. I like our OL a lot. Not a lot of talk about them but we could be really good.
