Because everyone knows that Washington is one of the main pillars of barbeque along with Oregon.

Yes, I'm sure 2 SJW states like OR and WA are known for their quality q.

In 2011 I believe I went to the SMU-Aggy game on a Sunday after LSU played in Dallas and was treated to the best brisket I've ever had and it was cooked by a kid in his 20s ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

I'm from SC and I hate mustard based. Vinegar all the way.

Oregon only eats tofu I'm sure.

BBQ is pork. Your opinion means nothing.

Yes, seriously, and the stuff is pretty damn good. I prefer brisket in Texas or pork ribs in Memphis, and that's OK! We don't all have to be the same.

SC is just as known for vinegar bbq as it is for mustard.

You just had to bring up barbecue. Quick, let's find a less controversial topic for a board full of Southerners and Texans (and Missourians, for some ungodly reason). Suggestions for topics less likely to start a war:
Abortion
Donald Trump
Cam Newton
Racism
Apple vs Windows
Homosexuality
Religion
Nick Sab...ah, nevermind. That one's worse.

Vinegar based and it is better on pork than anything in Texas.
Texas is a beef state and I don't like any sauce on my brisket.

Mustard based sux.
Oh, and pulled pork, Brisket, ribs, it's all Bbq. One last thing, I like Sweet Baby Ray's Bbq sauce if I'm gonna do a shortcut at home. Hell, I'll even Bbq some damn Polska Kielbasa sausage if I feel like it. What you gonna do now?

Some of the best BBQ i ever had was a block or two from the College of Charleston about two weeks ago. Named after 2 dudes and right across the street from the H&M on King Street. I would highly recommend it to any BBQ snob who thinks SC can't do BBQ. Now North Carolina? ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/icons/casty.gif)
