This is why I feel bad for Ole Miss. However, this is more like getting caught robbing the same bank for $200 multiple times.

You can have 1-2 great players and your class still be shite you know?

It's not the dollar amounts that the NCAA is worried about. It's about the process, and the NCAA believes they have found enough evidence that the school was complicit in the violations. The violations weren't "mistakes" or "oversights", they were intentional and they were orchestrated by or committed with the knowledge of school officials.
And now it's a classic case of the Milton Berle Theory. They are going to show just enough to bury Ole Miss. They don't need to find $250k paid to a player, houses given to relatives, or anything egregious. And honestly, if they start doing that it will open a new can of worms.
It has the added benefit of forcing Ole Miss's hand. If they do want to go down swinging, they will end up admitting to much larger issues than the NCAA charged them with.

The world isn't fair and it's annoying to bitch about what you can't control so I agree, shut up with the "poor little ole me" routine.
That's where I am with the whole ordeal. Some may think the punishment we are getting is unfair, and it may be, but complaining and melting about it does no good.

Auburn got a pretty thorough colonoscopy by the NCAA and they found nothing. I think yalls theory is wrong.

So basically, it's petty shite because, "Everyone else just has to be doing the same thing, only way way worse."

It's funny how the same things get said every time a school gets hit with major penalties. We said it, USC said it, tOSU said it, everybody says it.
Here's a tip from a fan who has been through this before: No matter how much you can prove your point, nobody is interested in hearing how the punishment didn't fit the crime. If you were guilty of anything, then they don't care if you got hit harder than you deserved. People don't focus on nuance. You cheated, you got punished, end of story. You're welcome to keep debating it, but you're going to be very frustrated at your inability to persuade anyone. Trust me on that one.

Two big differences. One, had Cam's father rattedd on him the way Tunsils step father did, y'all would have been hammered.
Secondly there was no immunity given to the state snitch in yalls investigation. Anyone seeing a trend here? Had the state snitch in our investigation not been given immunity we would have only received the one NOA and would have lost 11 scholarships only because a players family member snitched

You can't have it both ways. You can't say we can cherry pick national recruits because we cheat but we can't cherry pick instate recruits. Hell one of the recruits I mentioned y'all got caught paying yet you wont admit you got those players because you cheat too. Yet I'm the naive one. Idiot

Brilliant Thank You for this analogy that I will be unapologetically using from now on

one big thing, the comment he replied to said that having investigators on campus for any length they were bound to find something. Your retorts mean nothing in this sense

Just as a reminder: You are using the word "snitch" to mean "provide honest information about Ole Miss violating NCAA rules".
...lest we lose sight of what's important here...

NCAA saw Ole Miss's out of control cheating and while it couldn't prove rock hard evidence on everything it saw going on, all it needed to do was find enough to roast you. We have seen this before with U$C. Where the charges were just the tip of the iceberg of the lack of institutional control, but that is all the NCAA needed to get its hands on to destroy the whole thing.
You can keep your head buried in the sand all you like. Every charge OM gets will be well deserved. Not only for the massive cheating, but also for thumbing their nose at the NCAA through the whole process and daring them to do something about it.

They act like it is the 1950's when they were last a top tier program.

And on top of it all they want all the other SEC programs to go down in their flames with them!
Learn how to work the system within the accepted grey areas, don't mock them and then dare the snake to bite, then cry when you got bitten and ask the snake to bite everyone else in the room too!
