Justin Watkins, 4-star WR, East Ridge (Clermont, Fla.)
Justin Watkins, one of the top wide receivers in the country, is down to Alabama and LSU. He’ll make his commitment on Jan. 4 at the Under Armour All-America Game.
I confirmed with a source close to Alabama that Watkins does, in fact, have a committable offer. I then asked if that meant one of the Tide’s top wide receiver targets — Jacob Copeland, Jaylen Waddle and Justyn Ross — doesn’t have a spot. It was learned that they all can commit whenever they want.
The numbers will work out. If Alabama landed all of those receivers, I would venture to guess that numbers at another position group would be cut or a current commitment would be pushed out.
I haven’t spoken with Watkins since he visited Tuscaloosa in July, but I know he was extremely high on the Tide back then. This will be his first visit since the summer.

Trey Dean, 4-star S, Dutchtown (Hampton, Ga.) — committed to Tennessee
Trey Dean has remained committed to Tennessee throughout the chaos surrounding the program. The Tide would like to add one safety to the 2018 class, and Dean does have a committable offer, a source confirmed.
Dean camped at Alabama this summer and was a standout. He surprised many when he committed to the Vols.

I think she meant that she didn't wanna seem star struck but made a weird celebrity comparison

There’s been about 3 picks for Jalen Waddle to Texas A&M , man I hope we don’t lose out on him he’s my favorite WR this year.

Bama is losing out on everyone this year, no surprise there.

I'd rather have the spot used on a DL considering we will only have 6 scholarship DL returning, which is extremely concerning, especially since our staff has been out-worked/out-recruited at the position so far this cycle.

Hillcrest vs. Wetumpka - 6A Semifinal is being streamed live tonight. Not sure about prospects on either side. I know Wetumpka has some crazy athletes. The QB is really explosive.

We need to offer Smoke at RB.

He'll be a good one for somebody. He's a grown man as a high school player.

Wetumpka's passing offense leaves a lot to be desired.

J.D Martin just threw a dime on 4th down.
I have to say, since I've graduated, we have gotten a lot more beef up front. We had linebackers on the O-Line when I was in school.

3 cycles away and he's already a 6-1 175 CB.
Dude is gonna be 6-3 200 by his senior year...

Doesn't sound like AJ Brown wants to go anywhere per his Twitter.

WM loses in the semifinals 29-27. Slade ends his career healthy at least, which is good news.

A 13-1 season is better than any I ever had. It sucks for them to be so close to winning it all, though.
