Eerily reminiscent of the OL recruiting from 2011-2012. Big talent drop-off after the 2012 season because of missed targets and evaluations.
Again, losing Bo Davis was a back-breaker. Hard for it not to be painful. And for anyone who wants to point to last year's DL class- these players aren't recruited beginning with their senior year. Davis and Cristobal put in work while they were here cultivating those relationships.

Here's an unranked DL who had a monster senior season that appears to be a late bloomer (maybe to the point where he'll blow up similar to Christian Barmore) from OK (think Josh Jacobs perhaps?). Won't be unranked for long with highlights like this. Projects as 285-290 in college.

Great viscous highlights !!! Must be grades. If not , like him. I wish he was about 285 lbs . After a lot of guys his size . Could put it on though ??

3714,
By your post, can we assume we are looking at him?

So I had a hell of an afternoon today.
I was in the process of replacing a glass shower door in my oldest son's bathroom when the 6 and a half foot tall door (one of two) completely shattered.
A piece of glass lacerated my right index finger around the top knuckle and I had to get stitches.
I got a bunch of other small cuts, as did my wife, but they were superficial. The one on my finger hurts like a fricking bitch though.
We like being in Alabama, but I swear to God if it's not one thing it's another.

Glad you're ok. The previous owners cursed the house with Auburn juju. Ya'll gonna have to burn some sage or something I'm sure we haven't even heard everything and it sounds like a damn nightmare

It's been a nightmare, but we are celebrating little wins like we won the lottery.
We sold our kitchen table before we left so we've been shopping for a new one. My wife wants something specific so the ones we've been looking at are ridiculously expensive.
Well we went to an antique store on Sunday and saw one we liked that was handmade by a guy and his wife, but it was too small.
We called them on Monday and they are custom building us one in the exact same style, but bigger at 7 and a half feet long by 4 feet wide for only $450. We were floored by how inexpensive it is because it is solid wood and looks incredible. They are also custom building us a 6 foot long pew bench to match it for one side for $250.
Most of the tables we looked at in similar style and length were around $1,000 and that was before adding chairs and a bench.
Well we went to another antique flea market and found another round table with 5 chairs that match our table design and paid $150 for all of them.
So we got two tables, five chairs and a six foot long bench for $950.
We aren't keeping the second table though because we don't need it, so we may make out even better in the end.

How does the cost of living down here compare with Idaho? I'm kinda sheltered when it comes to things like that. I've always lived in Alabama.

It's about the same when you consider the little things.
Gas is about 35 cents cheaper per gallon down here.
Milk is twice as expensive though and I have 3 kids who love it.
Chicken and seafood are cheaper here.
My mortgage payment on this 2,700 square foot house is a little more than the 2,500 square foot house I was renting up there, but the Air Force is also paying me $300 a month more for my housing allowance.

Someone must not like me very much because I got downvoted on my post about getting stitches.

Hell, I got downvoted for saying Lowes should give you a discount on carpet. Sad you get downvoted because you got hurt

It's fine.
I just find it funny.

How are your kids adjusting to living down here? I'm sure they'll love it when they can swim

They all seem to like it so far.
They miss their friends from Idaho, but they've made new ones here already.
The real test will be once after school activities start.
My oldest will have baseball, my middle one will have golf and my daughter will be doing dance and cheer.
If those all go well they will be extremely happy.
The pool will help too.
