Nope, the Lsu fans would have burned down the world if he went out of state. It would have been exponentially worse than any other recruit that has spurned the home state team. Pretty sure the SECRant would not exist anymore. Imagine him having a game winning TD for Bama over L5U?
Sadly, this is true. Me and a few buddies were talking about how badly Joe McKnight was treated by LA folks for some reason last weekend. Had Fournette gone to Bama it would have been much worse.

It was a bama/Vandy fan who said he didn't have the top end speed of Gurley. Simply posting gifs to show that he does and most everyone besides him realizes this.

He will be remembered fondly in Louisiana, but not throughout the conference like Bo, Herschel, or McFadden as one of the best ever.
Let's compare Fournette to McFadden first 2 years:
McFadden
460 att, 2,760 yards, 6.0 ypc, 25 TD
25 rec, 201 yards, 8.0 ypr, 1 TD
Fournette
487 att, 2,987 yards, 6.1 ypc, 32 TD
25 rec, 336 yards, 13.4 ypr, 1 TD
Troll on, though

You know what happened when somebody told the Alabama QB that the Tennessee RB was injured?
Jalen Hurts heard that Jalen Hurd hurts.

Remember Buck Belue? Neither does almost anyone else. That's the UGa quarterback when Herschel was dominating college football. Not exactly Johnny Unitas or Dan Marino. You don't think the box was stacked when Herschel lined up in the I formation?
One other factor, every single defense that Herschel played against was recruited and schemed to stop the run since every team then had a run-first, pass-second offense. Half the defenses Fournette faces have been designed to stop the spread (I.e. With smaller, quicker players), so he should have easier sledding.
Fournette also broke Herschel's record by almost 100 yards and in 85 fewer carries

Damn shame it wasn't Herschel's record anymore at that point ;)

People just want Fournette to be bad or overrated. It's pretty clear at this point

Your point? The point was, don't tell us how much LF suffers by facing stacked defenses. He doesn't. Others have faced the same and performed at the same level.

LF7 might be the best offensive player in football, but he is still overrated
lol, wut? You are, without a doubt, the dumbest poster on here and that is saying a lot.
Just stfu.
Gumps hate Fournette. fact.

People forget Herschel was a huge workhorse. He didn't have an insanely high career yards per carry average. He had almost 1000 carries over his 3 seasons. For Fournette to get to the same amount of carries Walker had, he would have to have 507 carries this season. Hell Herschel averaged 32 carries per game in his sophomore season, that's insane.
Walker had a career rushing average of 5.3 yards per carry. Very good certainly for a guy who toted the rock as much as he did. But Fournette is on another level, at 6.1 yards per carry currently.

Herschel's OOC schedule in 1980: Clemson, Texas A&M, TCU and GaTech. There aren't any Sam Houston States in there to pad stats.
We all think he's good. But after listening to Rantards before he had ever suited up his freshman year tell us how Les recruited him from the planet Krypton, he didn't exactly wow me his freshman year. I saw a back that started the year running tentative, going down at first contact and showing Trent Richardson-like vision. He got better as the year went on, but he didn't come out of the gates breathing fire.

??
What has he ever done against us that would make me hate him? THAT'S MY WHOLE GODDAMN POINT. Dude disappears in the BIGGEST games.
Once in a lifetime player though. Jesus, some of you LSU folks make fun of Bama fans for being inbred retards but something must be in y'alls water.

And his sophomore season was better than any season Herschel ever had, so there's that.

McFadden won the Doak Walker twice. He was the two time Heisman runner-up and got Arky to Atlanta. His impact was far greater than anything LF7 could hope to accomplish in the SEC at this point.
He still has had a hell of a career so far, but the generational talent thing was just over the top.
He will win nothing consequential at LSU, but will go on to have a productive NFL career. LSU fans can continue to beat their chest about NFL players who won nothing while at LSU.

Refer to my post above. Herschel's freshman OOC schedule didn't have Eastern Michigan (the worst run defense in football) or Western Kentucky.

You're pussy is hurt because people have seen better RBs than LF7. I think most have conceded that LF7 is a great back. He just doesn't have the talent or hardware to place this once in a generation label on him.

Lol give one reason why we would hate him. He's done literally nothing against Bama.

It's like they can't understand how someone who has watched LF7 average 1.6 ypc can have the opinion he is not the best of all-time. You can only have this opinion if you hate him.
In what way has elevated LSUs team. LSU is 8 or 9 win team with or without him. He is great but, others were more talented, achieved more, and had greater impact.
