Are they? You seem to have knowledge of those dbs and their exact speeds. You should post that up for all to read.

Says the guy calling them slow, without posting any facts to back it up.

Keep the melt going over the previous LF, good player but overrated. I know that's hard to understand.

No, but you're claiming they aren't fast. It's the same thing slapdick.

Post where I said they were slow? I asked if they were fast and to provide facts. Stop picking what you want.

Highlight of his career so far is a Sam Hou Heisman pose and a gif of hitting someone who was standing still.

He should have gone to Bama.

What was the point of saying it shows nothing about their speed because the team sucked if you aren't implying they're slow?

Like I said, you tried and failed to troll. Give it up.

LSU fans have now devolved the conversation into "WELL LF7 IS FAST!". Ok, congrats, he's fast... and overrated.

LSU fans weren't even the first to bring up his speed. Try again.

No one is saying LF7 is slow. He just isn't as fast or talented as Gurley.

The generational talent label is hyperbole and a disservice to LF7. The bar was set so high for him coming in. There was no way he could live up to the expectations.

He is a good kid and sacrificed a lot to stay home in Louisiana. He could have went other places and had a better chance to be a champion and gain Heisman exposure.

He will be remembered fondly in Louisiana, but not throughout the conference like Bo, Herschel, or McFadden as one of the best ever.

Let's be honest for a second. By "throughout the conference" you really mean "on the SECR so people can troll".

Fournette only seems overrated because his coaches and team don't allow him to see his potential at LSU. McShay knows this. If L7 had a passing game it would allow him to do his thing without opposing defenses keying in him, daring Harris to beat them with his arm.

Let's be real. If we had a pass attack, defenses would still key on him, but they would get torched instead of holding us to 3-and-out when our offense throws a pass.

LF7 has a ridiculous combination of size/speed. He's returning kicks at 240 lbs. The dude is a monster. Had a slow start...no thanks to his offense and QB.

You assumed I was trolling. I was asking if they were indeed faster than LF.

Nope, the Lsu fans would have burned down the world if he went out of state. It would have been exponentially worse than any other recruit that has spurned the home state team. Pretty sure the SECRant would not exist anymore. Imagine him having a game winning TD for Bama over L5U?

If he left Louisiana to play somewhere else, I actually think his family would be in serious physical danger. The LSU cult members don't like it when their croots escape

Let's be real, LSU fans use this as a crutch and have repeated it so much even they believe it to be true.

Remember Buck Belue? Neither does almost anyone else. That's the UGa quarterback when Herschel was dominating college football. Not exactly Johnny Unitas or Dan Marino. You don't think the box was stacked when Herschel lined up in the I formation?

One other factor, every single defense that Herschel played against was recruited and schemed to stop the run since every team then had a run-first, pass-second offense. Half the defenses Fournette faces have been designed to stop the spread (I.e. With smaller, quicker players), so he should have easier sledding.

So stop with this "once in a lifetime" nonsense.
