BLM is stupid period..... It's creating racial divide and built on hate.
Otherwise they would be protesting peacefully the things you listed other than blacks being shot by police... Never mind that most of the blacks shot by cops are criminals or felons refusing or being defiant to authorities. It's not like cops are just randomly shooting minorities, far more whites are killed by police , it's a risk that criminals run by breaking the law, they run the risk of being in situations where they could be shot, it's the nature of the game. Cops for the most part are doing the right thing and shouldn't be crucified for doing there job, they have more of a right to go home to there families than criminals , of any color, it's the criminals who chose to live or exist outside the law and refused to comply or threatened police when caught. .... Also blocking traffic is not a protest that's a riot and should be seen as a crime, don't even get me started on the burning of buildings, cars, chants, nothing but a riot. I'm sick of the media sugar coating and calling it a protest, it sells for them but lies to the public and further creates a racial divide just like BLM

Goodell- get control of your league, it's embarrassing.
Goodell is not going to do anything unless the fans boycott and make him . He knows if he does something to stop it , that it will look bad and the liberals will call him a racist . I hope all the people that keep talking about it don't watch the games on Sunday or they are just pissing in the wind. I wasn't a big NFL fan anyways but I have no interest in watching it now. Kaepernick is a POS , for him to call another player the N word but then acts like he is sticking up for black people.

Great point geaux !!
They lived a criminal lifestyle, the police should not be crucified for putting someone down, of any color who refuses to obey or threatens them. Of course if a cop shoots an innocent person there should be consequences obviously. Why aren't people protesting these criminals for choosing the lifestyle they chose, which is essentially I'm a criminal frick the authorities, it's not tough to see that will end poorly eventually. But clearly logic escapes those people who keep pushing that these are poor innocent people being shot..... Liberal, racial dividing bullshite is what it is

You mean on top of being paid millions for catching a ball there are other options for black men and women to leave bad environments and be successful in life? Then have college paid for so they can move to something even better? Wow. Who would've thought?

Way to ignore what my intent was and clip off the last part of that sentence. If a criminal is caught of approached and refused to obey and acts in a threatening manner they can be shot, when thugs and criminals of any color act in this fashion the cop has every right to protect himself.
Clearly you are simple

I guess they only watch TV and don't actually pay attention to what's really going on. It's sad that the media feeds off of this. It's all politics no one notices that the minute this started playing world wide via the media that it has gotten worse?? Is there an issue with racism sure but it comes from everywhere not just one VS the other it's everywhere. There is no real problem the problem is the ones saying there's a problem. The problem comes from individuals not a whole race. I believe the police have power issues but I don't think it's predicated one way or another hell I know all kinds of people of different races that have been mistreated by the police. Don't act suspicious purposely then complain about it and say but it was a bannana in my pocket. Well if he told you to put ya hands up don't run at him with ya hands in ya pockets dumb arse. This is so freakn dumb, just like the Red/Blue thing in the 80's and 90's and like the east vs west thing. It's all made into a show by the media to get these idiotic reactions. Do we as a nation have issues sure but it's not as though the rest of the world doesn't and there are bigger issues needing address but no ones doing a thing. You are just looking dumb in front of millions of people by doing this. There are other ways to make a difference like going into these bad neighborhoods and calling the people out that don't try and make their own societies better. Go to school get an education instead of slanging dope and then saying there's no hope. Help one another with advice and action showing younger people that there is hope and a way out of that life.

Bayou, great post man.
I agree totally. I read the other day where Jerry Rice criticized Kap for his protest. He was instantly called a "coon" and other derogatory terms on Twitter by Aftican Americans citing oppression etc.
Jerry grew up very poor in Mississippi a brick layers son. He worked hard, stayed out of trouble, didn't live a gangster rapper lifestyle and had achieved wealth and fame and notoriety. Is there racism, sure but it does come from blacks to whites too. There are so many opportunities in this country and things that have been given , all you have to do is work hard, make the right choices and stay out of trouble. Life is not a hand out, you have to work hard. The poor white child in a trailer park could just as easily cry oppression but doesn't. There is affirmative action, Negro college fund, and several other programs that target and only benefit African Americans, the poor white child isn't given these race specific opportunities. There are no white specific programs such as these. Far too many kids these days go to school and do drugs or glorify a thug or criminal lifestyle , and kids who try to do the right thing are labeled sellouts by their peers or people from their culture. They make fun of the ones that are trying to rise above and do the right thing, so the oppression comes from within with all races more often than not, it's not doing the right things or making poor choices, so often the oppression is self induced but as Kap shows us it's easier to blame someone else for our failures. There are no hand outs and success can be had such as so many people of all races and upbringings have shown us, like Jerry Rice, Dr Ben Carson and so many others, just work toward the future and own your own successes and failures.

Meh, I wouldn't protest this way but it doesn't affect my life one way or another. I didn't grow up black and I never fought for my country. Had I done either I'd probably feel stronger one way or another. I can see freedom of speech and I certainly see people who protect this country not liking it. My father fought in Vietnam and has never had a kind word to say about America.

I get a bit sick of everyone saying they have the right to protest, and in fact they do. Wondering how upset they would be if they lost their high paying job (well it's not a job it's getting paid to play a game) because no one came to see them or turned on the tv when they play their job? I am only one, but I refuse to watch someone protest against the flag of the nation that allows so many become millionaires for playing a game. For me and my house we shall turn the channel, may not even watch one NFL game this year or until this is not happening

He's just another of these "look at me" people. Very disappointing. Sure - it's his right to protest, but if I signed his pay checks, I'd tell him I hired a football player and not a social justice warrior. And I would also tell him if the attention whoring didn't stop, he'd be getting a pink slip next.

Was he a political activist on campus, too, or is this sort of activism new for Reid?
Leonard Fournette has made some statements (most recently during the Alton Sterling events), but he also took stances last year with the South Carolina flooding; I think he genuinely wants to be a role model, and attempts to do something visibly and constructively.
Tyrus Thomas (former LSU basketball player) was active with the Alton Sterling protests, but as a constructive and positive voice: he applauded the crowd for protesting non-violently and lawfully, then urged the crowd to go home and not destroy their own community.
Beyond this, I don't really recall any social activism on the part of any LSU athletes. People seemed pretty happy for the most part.

You....you white people. You're not a race, you are a virus. You destroy the world. Everything beautiful you poison. You drag us from our homes; you rape our daughters, murder our sons. You crack our spines and do all you can to break our will. You stab us, then you put the knife in our hand and tell us its our fault, and if you don't do it yourself, you stand by, close your eyes, and pretend there's nothing wrong, and then you pray to your god to silence our screams so that you can enjoy the happiness we built for you with our blood. But its not your fault, its the only way you know how to be, and the only thing that will change anything is if another virus comes along and does to you what you do to us.
And I hope that happens very soon.

Wow,so poor and black are "synonymous"?Do you work or live around black people? I work, live and have interactions with middle class and upper middle class black people on a daily basis.I'd hate to break the news to them about being "poor".
Amazing that this is the impression of black people by a white SJW.
