I think these are the 2 most overrated coaches in the country not just the SEC.

Bret Bielema has actually won in a P5 conference and has turned around a dumpster fire at Arkansas.

Butch Jones has recruited and then lost to pretty much every winning record team (usually due to his inability to coach).

If you think Bert has been overrated than I guess the Arkansas football program should be winning 9-10 games ever year. Can't have it both ways.

Are either of them really rated high enough to be "overrated"?

They're both overrated by their respective fambases. Maybe not fans of other teams.

Bielema is a good coach. Not elite, but could very well be one day.

Butch is a lot like Les Miles. Brings in a lot of talent, but has several "what the frick was that" type of games.

Beilema's not overrated. He gets attention because he's really good for a soundbyte. Butch on the other hand..

Bert. He turned a 2-6 conference record and a win over a 6-6 Texas squad into a contract extension and a raise.

To me it seems like Butch gets a lot of heat and Bert gets a free pass for almost anything. Bert has lowered the expectations over at Arkansas. A 9 win season would be some sort of massive accomplishment. I lost some respect for Bielema when he turned a 10 win team into a 8 win team last season losing to Texas Tech and Toledo. He's entering his 4th year and the expectation seems to be 7 or 8 wins.

Is this a real question? Stroke face coaches circles around Lyle.

The end.
