Alabama tackle Cam Robinson arrested and charged with carrying a firearm with possession of narcotic and possession of stolen firearm.
Reserve defensive back Hootie Jones also arrested. The arrests occurred in Monroe, La.

Nick Saban statement: “We are aware of the situation involving Hootie Jones and Cam Robinson and are in the process of gathering facts to determine what internal action needs to be taken.”

Hootie, well he has had 3 years and is barely special teams and was going to have a chance at good PT this year.
If these charges are true, then bye felicia, i'm going to try to remain optimistic and wait for the official findings to come out.

We went to the CFB Playoff with a true freshman LT two years ago so it isn't impossible for Williams to step in at the position and play well.
I just don't understand the thinking of some of these kids. Why put your future in danger for something so stupid as possession of a firearm if you weren't absolutely sure it was legally obtained?

According to the police report, Robinson and Jones were found with two bags of marijuana and two handguns. One of the handguns was stolen.
For those asking, unofficially Korren Kirven is the backup left tackle. In actuality it's probably either Jonah Williams or Lester Cotton.

I know I'll probably be in the minority here but this to me is the dumbest thing to get in trouble for. You know it's illegal in the state of Louisiana (just like meth, crack, ice, etc.) yet you still buy it because it's not a hard core drug. However, it's still illegal. How hard is it not to frick up your life over some rag weed? Now if you live in Colorado or Oregon? Blaze the frick up. But don't do that shite in a state that hasn't legalized it.

We will find out what happened by how the school handles this. If Cam tells the school he knew the gun was stolen, then the team will dismiss him quickly.

So frustrating , why in the hell these young men feel the need to screw themselves like this is beyond me. I'm obviously miffed as a fan but I HATE seeing these guys jeopardize such a great opportunity doing dumb crap like this

Cam is not going anywhere, chill out people. Might be suspended for the USC game. Once people start talking to them, Hootie will take the fall for Cam. Cam will pay him back when he gets to the NFL.
