haha, sounds like it.
even against lowly Mississippi State we couldn't top a 15 point lead, for the style points, because they just kept draining 3's on us. Trading easy scores inside and layups for Bulldog 3's for last 10 minutes. And in all likelihood they couldn't shoot like that to save their lives in any other game.

Keith Hornsby is the guy to watch from lsu, He opened it up last game and had a good game. Last year he was lsu's best player on the road so if him and simmons have it going we will be tough to beat. Hopefully we stay out of foul trouble and can force sc to shoot the ball

Who you got?
I'd love to see LSU somehow pull this one out, but it doesn't look good for us. USC is legitimately a better team, IMO, plus they are a particularly difficult matchup for us and have the home court advantage. As much as I wish I could, I just can't see a path to victory for LSU in this game. I hope we can keep it respectable, but honestly I'm not even confident of that.

I think it is now just us and UK that are undefeated at home in the SEC.
And LSU :)

I hope we win and earn the 2nd Week In February SEC National Championship!

Unless you just meant overall. You and Kentucky are the only ones that are undefeated at home overall.

What gives LSU trouble year in and year out is disciplined teams which USCe is.
I don't know that it's discipline as much as effort. USC plays hard for 40 minutes. LSU does not.

Giving effort and playing hard for 40 minutes requires discipline....

I think USC wins this one by 6-8 points. Stout D and rebounding will be the difference along with a homecourt advantage.
IF LSU could slip by and win this one, the SEC better look out because the team predicted to finish 4th in the SEC (LSU) in preseason, might be sniffing around first place! It would take excellent games by multiple LSU players for that to happen.

I don't think LSU plays that smart of ball and if we can force Quarterman and Blakeney to keep jacking up poor shots it'll play into our hands.
You're pretty accurate. But if they both catch fire, which they have shown they are capable in the past 3 games, I think LSU wins this one. With that being said, I don't see both of them going off on the same night.

They picked us 7th or 8th this year so hard to believe our game tomorrow will be for 1st place this late in the season!

I wouldn't be so sure. If we struggle anywhere defensively, it's giving up wide open 3's so there's a chance. Hell, we let the white dude for Bama go off for a career high against us from being just plain wide open.

Same for LSU, but from the little I watched of USC I don't remember y'all taking a lot of 3's. If Victor gets in foul trouble (I think I heard a stat where he was top 10 in the country in fouls per minute), then we are screwed down low against a team like USC.

Carrera and Notice will be our big 3 point shooters.

Never really have under Jones. Yet, he's still 3-1 against USC and Martin.

Cause we've been great before this year

USCe hits FT's at the end to pull away and win. I expect a really good game

Oh, yeah and LSU was practically Duke over the same time period. Also, I'm not so sure you guys are that great this year either.
