Chris Leak deserves a mention. He took his lumps at Florida and doesn't get any credit for their 06 season.

I'm going to be a homer and point out David Greene (held ncaa wins record for awhile) and DJ Shockley

No. Jerimiah Masoli. Was incredible with a high school O line. Sucks that Nutt wasted him. He would have fricked shite up in Freeze's offense.

Casey Clausen is the correct answer.

May be laughable to some, but
Jarrett Lee was 8-0 in 2011 before Miles decided to start Jefferson again.
Matt Flynn started 1 year, threw for over 2800 yards and let LSU to NC.
Mettenberger, with an offensive scheme that ran the ball 65% of the time, passed for over 300 yards in 2013.

absolutely, great answer.
Dude threw one of the prettiest balls I've seen, and UF absolutely doesn't win a title in 06 without him. It's incredible how little he gets remembered simply because tebow came in and ran a few times from inside the 5.

Jordan Rodgers was quietly really good for Vandy

I don't really know the context of "underrated" since it's subjective, but I always feel like Rex Grossman gets forgotten about when talking about SEC quarterbacks.

That was 2 seasons after Cutler had left. Besides Bennett he didn't have a ton to work with minus a good OT in Chris Williams.

He was better than every one except Mett.
