It was volume stats, he had 200 more attempts than Daniels had for his heisman season. Any game where talent was close or equal to Nussmeier was pedestrian. LSU qbs outside of special Burrow season passed it that much.

Jayden had to play perfect every possession because he had to play against LSU’s defense and the opponents every week. LSU defense was non existent. LSU won multiple games this year despite Nuss’s below average performances.

We pass the ball a lot, and I mean a lot.
LSU oline and dline outmatched Vandy by extreme measures. That was the difference maker. Similar to the Arkansas game.

Especially when Burrow got that mulligan against Auburn at home. Offense was stagnant but defense was stout. Daniels didn’t get that luxury.

The Bengals held the Chiefs to 19 points the week ago and the Patriots to 16 the week before that. Daniels executed flawlessly. They played Daniels at the wrong time.
