well considering your analogy still leads me to believe you still didnt understand the article....
Auburn spends more money than they brought in for 2004 and 2014. 2004 they almost had enough money to break even.
Auburn spends money on two jets and a video board even though they don't have the money (guy at rent-a-center)
Auburn's Chief Operating Officer claims that they lied to the NCAA when submitting financial paperwork, and their debt isn't that bad. (So someone at Auburn is lying: is it the person that submitted the paperwork or is it Benedict?)
Auburn claims that they will be back in the black next year and calls their spending spree a one-time deal. Also claims that they got it from some savings they had. This is the second year in a row that Auburn has been in the red.
What did I miss?

These are the dumbest threads known to man, yet still generate the highest number of comments from the morons on this site.

They are dumb because its simple math. au has 200,000 living alumni. 30% of Alabama is au fans. That is 1.4 million people. So even if every single au alum lived in Alabama that would mean their fanbase is only 13% alumni. Its so funny to watch them dispute math

So two years? wow

Auburn spends money
Yes they do

This is where you lost out on the comprehension

"Claims"
Good thing all these supposed claims actually happened

Three if you would have read the rest of my post. Seems that your reading comprehension could use a little work.

So we are supposed to believe everything Benedict says despite the fact that some of it is contradicted in the financial report submitted to the NCAA?
Also, the budget this year has been released? Link? You said that these supposed claims have happened while quoting my statement on Auburn returning to the black.

Bama Logic? How does Bama and Saban being on TV all the time, dominating the state media, etc.; benefit Auburn? Plus I thought we were in Georgia.....
You get the notoriety when you play us, and occasionally beat us. Where would you guys be without us?

several months ago. As with most schools
Again your lack of comprehension of the article is astonishing. Let me simplify it for you. Auburn makes lots of money, they spend a lot of money, overspending a few years is not a problem because of institutional finances and because Auburn makes a lot of money

Can you blame people for wanting to associate with the best?

Numbers don't lie. Jordan-Hare is absolutely FULL of our graduates each year.
Do they question each and every person about their college degrees at the gate before you go into the stadium?
Just curious, where do you come by this stat?

Auburn University Graduate numbers vs Bama graduates.
This weak, tired "I'm better than you" argument that AU fans bring out every year?
Get over it.
All I really see is:
"No one cares about our second tier school unless they spent tons of money to attend here."

The Quad cities is a nice area. You could literally list every city/town in the country, and you'll get something like that said about every single place by someone. It's the way of popular culture in 2015.

The 2015 budget and spending report has been released and Auburn is in the black? That's interesting considering the 2015 fiscal year is not over yet. Again, link?

Its a well known fact that because the SEC Offices are in Birmingham that math is an au hater

So even though I have a college degree + 20 hrs, because I didn't go to Alabama, I'm not a legitimate fan? And FWIW, I've been following Bama football since the late 1970's.

You still have a chance. Can you answer yes to any of the following?
Are you a relative of Paul Bryant?
Have you ever taught or lectured at the University?
Have you ever rolled trees or something similar after a Bama victory?
Can you name the first president of the University and three of his family members.
Have you ever spent three consecutive nights on campus?
