re: Guide goes psycho on a kid updated

Haven’t read through this whole thread yet, but I did have to comment on your “aviation” remark. I can’t speak for everyone, but I can tell you for a fact if you were in Iraq in 06-07 in a Blackhawk, you got shot at every damn day. Multiple helicopters shot down, and 6 dead by the end of the tour. We were getting the shite kicked out of us until the “surge” happened. Still no reason to act like a raging a-hole. This guy has other issues.

Yes, many moons ago. It was my first active duty station. We were the last Huey battalion in the division, then quickly transitioned to Blackhawks.

I can’t even begin to fathom how that must feel. I am very sorry for your loss.
It’s just beyond the Costco if you are landing 25.
lol, yes it was pretty wild! Worked hard, played hard! A bunch of crazy dudes on the teams.
No, I was flying them around. I did get some jumps in with them at Yuma. Definitely one of the best gigs I had in the army!
Were you with the Knights? I was with them 1998-2000.
This is incredibly saddening. So very sorry for your loss.
You can add John McCain to that list. He was all about him.

Wow! Terrific speech. He’s still got it.
You would be incorrect my friend. I mostly live at the beach and my daughter said the the heat index was like 106 today. I checked my phone, and it’s a cool 70 degrees inside. This is a geo-thermal unit which may play by different rules.
If you look just to the left of the closest pyramid, on the far edge of the horizon, there is an Alexander Shunnarah billboard!

I was at Auburn as well. Poor as a poor church mouse. My father decided that the best way to make our way was to pay for it. I kind of get his reasoning now, but I will tell you I did not do that with my children. I was completely cut off financially. It sucked, but I was also tremendously motivated to succeed. It worked, but I didn’t want my children to have go through the crap I did. All of my kids are doing great, without all of the suffering.

I had an amazing run. I had tours of duty in Germany, Italy, then Hungary. Lived like a king in Hungary. But it sucked my children did not who their grandparents or cousin were. . Growing up, my cousins were some of my best friends. Still are today. No regrets pulling it back, coming home. It was time.My wife wanted to stay in Italy forever. It just wasn’t practical at that time.
About $500.00 diamond earrings, unbelievable rate of return. BTW, been amazingly happily married for 35 years. Yes, I’m old.

Are you completely stupid?
Fantastic work, as usual. Very impressive!
