Who would want to coach at a place like this? They are basically running their all time winningest coach out of town. The man won a National Championship for crying out loud. This lack of respect will likely turn off many candidates.

People said the same thing about Shula...that worked out...running a former golden boy who won 10 games out of town, yada yada yada.
Money is a powerful motivator. Especially when you suck at your current job.

I think that's what Tommy Tuberville finds so attractive about this job. It just feels right to him.

Good. We don't want anyone who is unsure if they'll win at LSU.

Right.....cause we know how psycho fans kept any decent coach from coming to Bama.....

He won a national championship almost 10 years ago so he has to stay forever?

Saban didn't go to Texas b/c he didn't like the way they were handling the coaching transition.

I must laugh at your post, if Bama were in our position the last 10 years you would be calling for Nickies head, and you can deny it all you wish

They could whack Les Miles Goodfellas-style and there would still be a list of coaches in line because money talks and bullshite walks.

How has LSU handled this? They haven't done anything yet.

I cant believe someone here on the rant does not know the four year slide LSU has undergone while bringing in top level recruits... This is not about a 3 game losing streak.
I log in here every day and SEC posters are quick to point out the slide in LSU's performance over the last few years... Thank you rant! I am no longer in denial. We are ready to take the next step to recovery!

The only limits they have are retaining Miles and trying to hire a new OC. If they hang on to Miles they need to let Cam go and use Kraigthorpe to coach up the QB position and let Miles call plays. That was the suggestion Hanagriff had which for him is quite intelligent.

19-12 with a solid chance at 19-13 in SEC play since 2011.
I'm pretty sure most coaches think they could do better than that at LSU
