I think it’s wild some states do not require ID. In small town Alabama they require it… despite most folks knowing one another. I’ve never been to Louisiana, but currently reading a book set in New Orleans. It describes the modern-day Ninth Ward as almost third-world. Is this accurate? It’s been 20 plus years since Katrina… what is the current situation in the Ninth Ward? Is there any hope for improvements at this point?

Buddy goes to South Africa to hunt every 5 years. Costs him around $30k but he has never killed a lion. The PH’s there are brutal. He wanted my friend to take a shot and a local villager was somewhat in the line of fire. My buddy resisted and the PH became irate and said, “take the shot! If you hit him (the local) we will throw his body in a ditch with many others”.
