Power runs with Chubb worked pretty well
This. UGA's offense will be fine. A healthy dose of Chubb will set up the play-action...and that Michel guy will do well as a change of pace to give Chubb a breather. Any OC with an NFL pedigree should be smart enough not to mess that up. I think the bigger concern for UGA will be developing the next QB...

Georgia made do with Bobo. How hard can it be when UGA has Nick Chubb?

Trust me, UGA fans aren't worried about who coaches the offense against Auburn. UGA will keep whipping that arse
Possibly. The big question is, will you continue to let a Big 12 team win your division?

What if they are the beneficiary of nepotism and don't have any real accomplishments to speak of other than being born to a coach? We still cool with that kind of pedigree? Just checking.

As fans we share that same concern.
I was worried about Ramsey but now I am really worried about Ramsey.

That's worse than Cam Cameron and that is really saying something.

We made do with 41 ppg? If that's getting by, I'll fricking take it.

So you're saying this is who GA should have gotten as OC?
I imagine he's saying the problem wasn't Sanchez. It was Schottenheimer.

The thing about UGA OC hires is that we're still going to run the same stuff. It's not like UGA's trying to trick anybody. We've run basically the same offense since 2001, and it's always been successful.
Just wait until he converts Chubb into a WR.

So they will have a schotty offense.....

I think Schottenheimer is a good play caller

A little Chubb, some more Chubb, a lot more Chubb, and a bit of Chubb and we're in ATL.
Keith Marshall also will have a good next year...you heard it here first.

If you're lining up against his offense, I would agree. His play calling has been horrendous...at least while here in St. Louis. Who the hell runs power runs up the middle with your smallest WR????

He coached for his dad at 3 places (KC, Washington, & San Diego). He was hired as OC by both the Jets and the Rams as well...last time I checked, NFL teams aren't gonna hire offensive coordinators based on who your daddy is. He was also interviewed for an NFL head coaching job. While his dad may have gotten him his start in coaching, especially in the NFL, his gigs as OC for 2 different NFL teams he got on his own...
He was a QB at UF under Spurrier and he's also coached at the collegiate level in addition to the NFL. No hire is ever a guarantee but, with the offense that UGA traditionally runs, I think he'll be a good fit.

Bland as toast as a play caller, but he's young with NFL experience, so it'll help with recruits.

I can't speak to the power runs with T Austin. But he does keep defenses off balance. He out coached Wade Phillips when the Jets beat the Texans in the opener one year.
And he has been dealing with shite QBs for most of his career. I saw him get the most out of Sanchez one year, then Sanchez regressed after that. Sanchez also regressed with Chip Kelly.

You apparently don't watch enough football. Football at every level down to High School is nepotism driven. Those guys get opportunities because of their names.
The Grudens, the Schottenheimer, Wade Phillips, The Ryans, the Spurriers, the Kiffins, the Shanahans, the Smiths, the Harbaughs, Andy Reid's son, the Fassells, Jeff Fisher tried to hire his kin but the Titans said no, the Tices, the Carrolls, the Moras, the Shulas. It goes on and on and on and on. Check out their first gigs. Many didn't climb any sort of ladder of achievement.
