3,000 yard passer 1,000 yard rusher and 2 1,000 yard receivers in his first year.

Could anyone have a stellar offense with Anthony Jennings?

His entire life as a coach has pretty much been in the NFL. Will be interesting to see if he can make the right adjustments to the college level.

Yeah. I'm not saying he won't be good but it's a big adjustment from the pros to college if you've never coached the college game. I just figured UGA would hire someone more surefire in terms of their experience in the college game. Just seems an odd choice for them.

What kind of recruiting ties in UGA's traditional areas does Jorts/Dawg have?

Has only been a college coach for 2 seasons, and he is from Kansas originally.

1999 - Syracuse (WR Coach)
2000 - USC (TE Coach)

What a terrible hire.

Glad he is not with the Rams anymore though so thanks for that at least.

now tell us who his starting QBs were those years.

When you're left with whoever bradford's backup is and mark sanchez as the majority of your starters, you're already destined for failure.

all I know is he has been horrendous in St. Louis. And that's putting it mildly. If he wasn't pushed out the door this year (which I think he was) then he was definitely going to get fired next year if things didn't improve. His play calling was horrible.

The best thing I can say is maybe his style is better suited for college because it doesn't work in the pros. Dunno.

Wish you dawgs the best.

Mark Sanchez was one of them.

The same Mark Sanchez that had a completion percentage of almost 65pct and a qb rating near 90.

His 4 seasons with the Jets. Around 70 QBR and completion percentage around 55pct every season.
