Leave TCU and Baylor Out!

Matt Moscona said it best this past week. The Big 12 Commissioner is a retard, they have 10 teams and claim to having one true champion. They came out earlier in the week and stated that if both TCU and Baylor won, which they did, then both would be co-conference champs. It should be Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State, and FSU. Leave the retards in the Big 12 out for not crowning a champion.

Damn right, especially after running these stupid ads all year

So OSU gets to use not having a CCG when the big10 had 11 teams to their advantage, but now that they do have a CCG conferences who do not should be penalized?
Just admit you are scared of Baylor winning it all, which will happen if they make the playoff.

Yea they thought they had found a loop hole, now it's gonna bite them in the arse.

Back then, only 2 of the power 6 conferences had a ccg.
Now 4 of 5 do.
Now 4 of 5 do.

I don't get all of the Ohio State love. They play in the weakest of the Power 5 conferences. They lost to a 6-6 Va. Tech on their home field. They do not have a more impressive resume than either TCU OR Baylor.

quote:That's just how they roll in the Big XII. Someone decided that they didn't want to let a little thing like conference tie-breaker rules hurt TCU's chances, so they decided to try an end run around the rules.

Same thing happened with the Longhorn Network--teams were supposed to be limited to one home non-conference football game for tier 3, but in the Big XII, rules are made to be broken. Would serve them right if both were left out because they were trying to be too cute by half.
If this comes about, the Big XII ought to be the easy winner of Texas Monthly's Bum Steer Award for their "One True Champion" campaign. That ranks right up there with, "If you like your doctor, you can keep them."

Dale? Seriously ? Baylors nonconf schedule is weaker then olive oil from Popeye.
Bama and Oregon would stomp them. FSU and ohio st would be an even match up with them. But IMHO you can't reward either baylor or Tcu with a spot ahead of 1. Bama 2. Oregon 3. FSU and with what Ohio state did tonight they get the 4 the and final spot. Now go suck a tit and cry.

Perception is a huge factor here. Do you think if both UT & OU were 11-1, both would be left out? Doubt it.

PS-I hope we get tOSU if it happens though.

Would love to see the Big 12 left out.

I clicked on this thread intending to.take the opposite view but y'all turned me around. I still see Baylor as the toughest potential matchup for Bama but the Big? deserves the snub.

Baylor would have no chance at Bama. OSU would have a much better chance to beat them.

Agree 100%....,let them find two more teams and go to 12 and have a conference champion.
Here SMU isn't doing anything.......

So who won the Big XII? I just saw TCU holding up a trophy after they won their game on ESPN, but I thought Baylor won bc of the tiebreaker?

Oklahoma State played FSU

IF the Big 12 gets left out, look for them to expand this year and bring it back to 12. They'll realize the importance. It's truly baffling to me that FSU isn't #1 and Baylor isn't ranked over TCU. This is ridiculous. I can't wait to see how the committee justifies everything tomorrow. The real debate becomes if they value TCU over OSU then they have to value Baylor over TCU. Ridiculous.

Both won.
