“He served him dinner,” an officer told the Indian Express. “After the meal, the father overpowered the man and tied him to a chair. He got heated tongs and burned the supplier’s genitals before strangling him to death. He came to the police station and surrendered himself.”
The 45-year-old alleged rapist is suspected as being one of two people that raped the young victim a few months ago when she was home alone.
The rapist allegedly told his victim not to tell anyone, but she reportedly told her father the same day.
The father will face murder charges. He admitted to the murder and said he had been planning it since he found out about the rape.

I would want absolutely no part of sitting on that jury.

I respect what he did but can't condone it. Opens up the door for vigilantism. Which only leads to abuses of personal rights and freedoms in the end.

He openly admits to premeditated murder.
Hard to see him getting anything but 25 to life.
Hope they somehow let him out in 7 though.

Yep. Unless he can get a good psych and lawyer and argue some kind of mental disorder with his obsession over it. Never underestimate the chance for people to mete out justice on emotion rather than law.

What if his daughter is feeling guilty about having sex with someone else, and just have her dad that guys name?

I hear that. He is clearly guilty of murder, but I think I would have a hard time convicting unless he was otherwise an a-hole.
If he is a pretty upstanding guy who just killed his daughter's rapist (and they prove both) then I would probably just say something about "reasonable doubt."

I hope that man serves many years in prison.

"Alleged" bothers me. He could have easily just tortured, mutilated and murdered an innocent man.

Agreed.

That's good because he's in India.

Should have just stopped there.

I can get on board with burning the dude's nuts off. He should have just stopped there.

Not just murder. Torture, false imprisonment and doing all of this while being a minority.

Well that was stupid.
At least make an attempt to get away with it and hide/cut up/burn the body in a remote place far from where you live.

Yes it was a joke, playing the typical American calling anyone non-white a minority no matter where they are.
