Former NFL coach Greg Schiano has purportedly spent the past 36 hours in the Arkansas football complex helping Bert game prep for Auburn's offense and he believes he has it figured out. Bert calling in the big guns.

"You’re going to have to wait. Next Saturday you’re going to see. I’ve got faith. I’ve got faith in the Razorback defense.” - Greg Schiano

I don't disagree. I think Arkansas will give Auburn hell but they won't win.

Is this like when kiffin worked with bama's O coaches before the Sugar Bowl?

ETA: Looks like Schiano may be wanting the Arky job when he gets bert fired.

The simple fact that he wants people to know he had a hand in how bad Arkansas is shows he isn't the brightest bulb in the pack.

I wonder if Schiano brought Bert some DBs to go along with his advice?

He also compared Auburn's run-heavy, big-pass approach to Navy.
quote:

"One of the biggest things Arkansas has to do in their opening game is, if they can avoid letting that big pass play go over top and just play disciplined football, it's going to be a real tight game," Schiano said, according to ArkansasNews.com. "Now if the ball goes flying over the top, that's how they blow the game open. And once they get a lead, they're built to have a lead, because when they have a lead, now they're going to run that football and eat clock."
