Since Muschamp has taken over, UF has not had an offensive identity. Alabama at least has a talented and experienced running back corps to rely on if they can't get the QB situation figured out in a timely manner. Unless they find an entire offense, I don't see it happening.

I'd be surprised if UF's offense manages 10 against Alabama's D.

Today, of course. I think given the unknowns related to Alabama, Georgia and LSU, teams like UF or Tenn could push anyone in the conference. I'm sure some of that will get separated out fairly early on, but it is really unclear if any teams will be dominant.

Your point? UF struggles to put up 10 on anyone.
If our offense even remotely improves this season (it has to right?), UF has a shot against anyone on the schedule because of the defense.
And Bama has a new QB. Yeah... yeah... McElroy, McCarron won titles in their first season...
But statistically they are both outliers. Not many 1st year starting QBs have their success.

When was the last time that happened? 10 years ago?

It will be Florida's first real chance to prove they are back. I would not want to be in Alabama's shoes in this game.

I wouldn't touch the line on this game unless it's UF +11 or more in which case I'm betting the farm.

Just have to be better than Ga. Southern.

Florida's offense may not do much, but their defense/ST could score enough to do the deed....

i dont see florida having enough offense to beat alabama, whereas alabamas offense could be spectacular (although maybe not so early in the season), and our defense is going to be pretty damn good, especially front 7

There's always the possibility... I'm sure Florida will be fired up, and Bama's Qb is a big question mark...

Yeah. This is an early season game, and I could see UF winning this one with turnovers.
