Every Qb you listed had spent over a year in their offensive system before starting their first game, sans Cam Newton. Coker has been a backup his entire career for a reason.

Have you seen Bama's spring game? They had negative yardage on offense. Kiffense at work.

I won't go Full Jort and say we'll win...but if we can keep that game within a TD @ BD Stadium, the rest of the SEC should start to worry.

Simple answer: if UF has an improved offense, not great, just improved, they will give everyone on the schedule a good game.
Alabama hasnt been invincible at home lately either.

I wouldn't touch the line on this game unless it's UF +11 or more in which case I'm betting the farm.
Exactly. I love how these threads really point out the shitty posters who've watched a few seasons of SEC football total.

It's possible though unlikely. With a badass running game Coker won't have to put up huge numbers to be successful.

but but but we didn't score 100 points in the spring game.

It's cool...

#1. No one knows how good the Alabama running game is going to be. UF's should be pretty good next year as well. One of the most underrated units in the SEC right now is UF's RB's. No one talks about them because the offensive line was such a disaster last year with the injuries.
#2. No one knows how good either Driskel or Coker is going to be. For Coker, he is coming into a new system, and he's never even started a game. Driskel on the other hand, has started plenty, been pretty hit or miss, but is supposedly in a system that better fits his skills. Is that BS? IDK. How is he going to come back after injury? IDK. Lots of questions for both teams at QB, and for both teams, it could either be a total shite storm of QB sucking, or both could be really damn good. It's hard to tell.
#3. Both defenses are regularly the best in the SEC, and other than a weird year last year when everything went wrong, UF recently has equal, if not better, special teams play than Alabama.
There are only two clear advantages, as of now, that I see for Alabama. Saban is a better coach than Muschamp and the game is in Alabama. But to say the game will be a blow out is short sighted. Florida will be a significantly different team in 2014 than they were in 2013 when they lost 126 starts due to injury.

I would even go on the say if UF's offense is better than average, they could be favored.

Unless Alabama loses 2 games to start the year, UF won't be favored.

We've lost 3 games at home in the past 6 years

I'd be willing to bet they'd still be favored.
