I would take Sammie Coates and Duke Williams over and WRs that Alabama currently have.

Why is everyone saying Bama's DL is the best? They hardly ever have a legit DL. They are just there to take up space and let their LBs get shite done. That's why they always have the best LB corp in the SEC

Well its generally hard to be very impactful as a true DL in terms of stats in the 3-4. There are some exceptions to the rule, like JJ Watt.

They've had a really solid DL nearly every year, they just haven't wrecked shite either.

Saying you'd take Duke Williams over Amari Cooper is just plain silly.

As an LSU fan I just hope our poor talent-less roster can stay on the field with Alabama and Auburn. Actually, have you guys heard A&M fans talk? You have to believe this is their breakout season (serious this time). Of course as an LSU fan beating A&M and Auburn hasn't exactly been much of a problem. Thank god Oklahoma isn't in the West, imagine the talent they must have after that arse kicking in the dome?

If Cam comes through at LT, I'll take Bama's OL. CyKo really under performed last year.

Right now it it seems silly, but when the season is over, the whole nation will take Duke.

Well shite, Vandebilt is arguably the best in a number of positions.

Doesn't make it a good argument.

While I personally would take Duke, preseason rankings would have Amari better. I don't think the gap is as big as you think though

Cooper is solid, but Duke Williams has more potential.

Duke and Amari will both be first rounders

Our o-line way trumps Bama's...3WinsInTheirLast5Games is almost as delusional as anti

I have no problems with threads like this in the offseason, but wouldn't it make for a far better discussion if you actually included all the names of the guys in each of these SEC-best position rankings? For instance, people seem to think AU WR corps is top notch, but other than Coates, I can't actually remember another AU receiver from last year. Inform me if you want to convince me one GROUP is better than another.

oh, and to the guy talking about it being questionable about how well Marshall comes back from injury, he participated in every drill this Spring except the live scrimmages (for obvious reasons) so the knee is doing just fine. Can it be hurt again? Of course, but his healing process from this injury is going very well.

Mitchell worries me more as he HAS always been "injury-prone".
