Do any SEC grads actually buy/wear college rings?

Besides Aggy. Just glancing at their board and they are all talking about getting their college class ring and how it was the greatest thing in their lives. Seems sad.

I thought high school class rings were cheesy. College is whole another level of cheese.

I once tried to strike up a conversation with a dude interviewing me for a job because he was wearing an A&M ring. I was mentioning football and trying to get some decent personal relationship with the dude. He then informed me that he went to a satellite campus and was a Longhorn fan.

I stopped caring after that.

My math teacher in middle school had a Mizzou ring, but he was super in to Mizzou.

Thought I was a boss with my HS ring, but never cared for a college one.

I kinda regret not getting one just to have - I'd never wear it, though.

I have never seen a female wearing a college class ring, but have seen successful men doing it. These gentlemen all were faithful alums and contributors.

I've noticed a LOT of people in South Carolina wear rings, regardless of wether it's USC, Clemson, The Citadel, CoC, etc. I see them everywhere.

Aggie Network is the best alumni group in the world. The Aggie Ring is a power move. Deal with it.

The only thing I have is an Alumni Association sticker on my car. That's it.

It's not a class ring.
It's an Aggie Ring.
Each Aggie's ring is the same.
It's about solidarity and family.

Something I've noticed about the SEC: Many fans claim to respect & appreciate the game of college football and its inherent traditions--more so than fan bases in other parts of the country.

Yet whenever a school has traditions that stray from the SEC norm, many of you start in with the insults. Y'all want everyone to be the same.

Texas A&M University--in many ways--does things very differently than do other schools. That's how it's always been, and it's not likely to change. And all of the sophomoric, "we're too cool for that" comments won't cause any of us to do more than chuckle.

We don't laugh at your homecomings; cut us some slack on our dead dogs scoreboard.

It's a mark of enormous pride to have graduated from A&M, and it's a very big deal to get the honor of wearing the ring. Sorry you can't understand that.
