People are just looking at the fact that [Clowney] is a physical specimen. Honestly if you watch the film, he plays like a blind dog in a meat market basically."

"go watch film."
"I play with a lot of technique," Ford said during the interview. "I watch a lot of film. These are the things I do, and it shows up."
quote:
"I'm better [than Clowney]," Ford, also a pass-rushing draft prospect, said during the interview. "Let's put it like this. People like to talk about size all the time. Size is pretty much overrated in my eyes.

clowney will go down as the most overrated player in the history of football

As much as I hate to admit it, he's exactly right. That's a perfect analogy.

Why can't dee just sale himself without tearing down Clowney?
I don't get that mindset that one must tear down someone else to make themselves look better.

Clowney will be a monster in the NFL.

Clowney will be the biggest NFL bust at defensive end since Vernon Gholston was drafted #6 overall by the Jets in 2008.

Dee Ford will run faster than him at the NFL Combine, I'll bet.
He's right, though (Dee Ford is one of the hardest working players I've ever seen at Auburn, film room, workout room, and practice field). Jadeveon Clowney has let his freakish talent carry him through his life and career thus far. He would be crazy good if he went 100% all of the time and applied technique to his arsenal.

The NFL is loaded with talent. If you don't put in the extra time and dedication, you'll be run over.
Dee Ford may sound cocky, but if he backs it up with hard work and effort, more power to him.

I think that Dee has some balls to call out a player like that, but he is right. Dee is smart, and he will be successful in the league IMO.

Dee Ford had better put out at the next level cause he just made a pure arse of himself. For all the people talking about clowney busting out in your dreams. You do realize clowney doesn't play quarterback. His job is to rush the passer and he will do it at the next level.

Dee Ford is just trying to get attention because nobody outside of the SEC has heard of him.
He jealous.
He mad too

I kind of agree with Ford. He's better than Clowney, exactly for the reasons he gave. I think he's a Robert Mathis clone.
