Mizzouri is like the mayonnaise of the SEC. Bland, white, and no one really likes them.

I like Miracle Whip! Congrats on your basketball win. We'll get you back this softball season!

Yes, without a doubt except more apropos, they are shite wagon riders.

Alabama is the biggest bandwagon in the history of American sport.

I keep saying the same thing - but the mizzerites keep taking it personally.
I wonder why?

They realized how awesome football is, and how much the suck basketball has.

I will give Mizzou credit, they were the biggest surprise in the SEC to me this year. Even more than Aubby- I knew Mal would do well, but I thought Pinkel was a season from being canned.

Link(s)?..you sure it was Mizzou fans saying all this and not you dumbshit backwater hillbillies who don't know your heads from your asses?

I think the ante just got upped.

With so many other options in the state probably.
If more SEC states had more competition for the fan dollar you would see more of it. But a state like Alabama is the perfect example.

When you aren't considered elite in any of the two major sports (football and basketball) you do suffer a bit with an identity crisis. We have been piss poor at both, average, and elite at one time or another. All in all, the best label to put on Mizzou is competitive. We want more and have higher expectations being in the SEC now. The future remains to be seen and that's the reality of the situation.
With that rosey scenario, I will sit down now and eat some fries with mayo or Miracle Whip. That's some good shite I tell ya.

I've been thinking about it a lot and I have decided OP is right.
When you haven't won a conference championship in football since 1969 or basketball since 1994 and never winning a national championship in either, you're naturally going to attract a ton of bandwagon fans. It's unfortunate for those of us who would still be fans without the tremendous success and elite history, but it is what it is.
