re: All SEC Pro Bowl squad

And do you think they could beat a team made from the rest of the NFL?

Watching the Pro Bowl tonight and started wondering if an NFL pro bowl squad made up of only former SEC players could beat a squad made from everyone else? Not sure, but the team is pretty solid! Here's what I put together real quick. (Don't know enough about OL to make an accurate selection)

QB
Peyton Manning - Tennessee
Matt Stafford - Georgia
Cam Newton - Auburn

RB
Arian Foster - Tennessee
Eddie Lacy - Alabama
Jeremy Hill - LSU
Mark Ingram - Alabama

WR
Julio Jones - Alabama
AJ Green - Georgia
Odell Beckham Jr - LSU
Jeremy Maclin - Missouri
Randall Cobb - Kentucky
Alshon Jeffrey - South Carolina

TE
Jason Witten - Tennessee
Martellus Bennett - Texas A&M

DL
Sheldon Richardson - Missouri
Geno Atkins - Georgia
Marcell Dareus - Alabama
Kyle Williams - LSU

LB
CJ Mosley - Alabama
Patrick Willis - Ole Miss
Von Miller - Texas A&M
Justin Houston - Georgia
Aldon Smith - Missouri

CB
Patrick Peterson - LSU
Joe Haden - Florida

S
Eric Reid - LSU
Matt Elam - Florida
*Eric Berry - Tennessee

Question is becoming who would have to be dropped?

Who'd I forget?...
I think most Mizzou fans, including myself, are just not used to having a team like this that wins with dominant defense. Despite the old saying that defense wins championships, we are used to seeing our win total year in and year out determined by the level of our offensive skill players. For the majority of the year I've found myself thinking that this team just isn't very good, based solely on the offense. But this defense is the best defense I can remember at Mizzou and they just keep winning. It isn't super flashy and there is no Maclin or Denario putting up TD after TD, but this team could argue that the importance of what their doing on defense this year could make them the better team. All I know is that I would sure like to see them put together this quality of defense with an offense like they had in 07!
Here is a short video thats already on YouTube of the looting at a gas station. This QT was set on fire shortly after this video. Gas Station
After a young boy was shot and killed by police yesterday and a peaceful protest today, St Louis has gone straight to hell tonight! People looting as many stores as they can get into, setting buildings on fire, damaging police cars, shooting (I'm assuming at the police), and its all unfolding live on camera. Insane...
to describe your team/school/fanbase?
Example: Missouri - Misery

Which ones have been accepted or embraced?
Which ones get you a little rustled?
Example: Do South Carolina fans consider USCe demeaning or descriptive?

#1 Alabama (SEC West)
#9 LSU (SEC West)
#10 Tennessee (SEC East)
#11 Georgia (SEC East)
#12 Florida (SEC East)
#13 Auburn (SEC West)
#20 Texas A&M (SEC West)
#23 Arkansas (SEC West)
#28 Ole Miss (SEC West)
#35 Missouri (SEC East)
#40 Vanderbilt (SEC East)
#43 Mississippi State (SEC West)
#47 Kentucky (SEC East)
#61 South Carolina (SEC East)

Average team rankings - SEC West teams: #19.6; SEC East teams: #30.9

It really wouldn't be that unbalanced if the East didn't have South Carolina as the weak link weighing down our average! :booboo:

Can't these schools put together some sort of call girl service for the team and not allow the football players to have girlfriends or any other interaction with females outside of class? That coupled with an elimination of all drug testing and that should keep all these tPOS out of trouble for at least four years. Let them screw their lives up on their own dime after football. Who's with me?!!
Was it something I said? :rotflmao:

And Mizzou/USC shouldn't be that high. A lot of mistakes on both sides of the ball and really we should have never gone to OT with them, we just played a really bad game.

SEC East Champions dont care :dude:
Tony Van Zant

1985 Parade Magazine National player of the year. Biggest recruit Mizzou ever landed. Played in a high school all star game in 86 right before coming to Mizzou and blew out his knee on the second carry of the game. He was never the same after.
Bert...by himself...because there wouldn't be room for anyone else on the mountain....because he's fat!
2007, final week of the season. Lorenzo Williams sacks "Sod" Reesing in the end zone with 12 seconds remaining to secure the victory for #4 Mizzou over #2 Kansas vaulting the Tigers to #1... for exactly one week...

ESPN/the national media/(random national anylyst) hates Mizzou...everytime anyone on TV says anything that isn't sunshine and roses.

And the inevitable "down in front" from the older crowd who either cant or doesnt feel like standing at a football game. Seems worse at our place than anywhere I've ever been.
