The article is more nuanced than the eye-catching title.

What the frick does leave early mean? The guy isn't a 30 year old just getting his feet wet.

Coach Bryant dealt with spoiled fans in the late 60s and early 70s. The pedestrian 1969 and 1970 seasons had some daring to call for his head. He responded with a run from 1971-1980 that may never be matched.
Coach Saban hasn't had to deal with that yet, but we will eventually fail to meet expectations in a season. I just hope the majority of us put it in perspective.

We already have. 2010.

I think the fact that he has won 3 titles instead of pulling a Bob Stoops should keep everyone who isn't a complete moron from getting all that upset if we have a couple of bad years. He has more than proven he can achieve and then maintain a championship program.

"Diet coke? Like adderall?"
Just diet coke (diet pepsi is an acceptable substitute).

I've been saying this for a while now. Along with the media and beat reporters.

I liked the supermodel wife analogy.

I was talking more like 8-5 or something.

For as long as I can remember I've said Alabama has the best fans and the worst fans. I think everyone should keep in mind however that this program would not be nearly as successful as it has been over the years if not for the fans.

Not going to read that article lol, but if he leaves it wont be because of most Bama fans, but mostly because of me. You see, every home game when I see him walk into the stadium I tie a piece of fishing line to a lil Debbie package and throw it front of him. Then i pull it towards me leading him over, before stomping right on it in front of him. He falls for it every time.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. That is one terrible website. My apologies to the guy if he's reading this, as I know he posts a lot on bama boards. Just saying. Really bad.

Though I will say, it is refreshing to see him actually writing about Bama again instead of laying it on about how he has SOURCES in the DA's office or whatever and Auburn will be getting the death penalty next week like he spent much of the last couple years guaranteeing.
