"Alabama is not going to beat LSU by 25 or more points, like Alabama did against Virginia Tech."

If y'all continue you present path down the shitter, they will. Are we getting ready to see an LSU mutiny (suspensions, negative press, etc)now?

Coaches need to get over themselves. No one wants to stay in a cold stadium during a blowout when they could go back to a tailgate, watch multiple games with a much better viewing experience, and eat, drink, use their phones, and piss with ease.

All stadiums are going to have to go to it eventually - as silly as it may sound to us now, it's just a cost of doing business if you want to sell tickets.
The next generation will hear stories of inoperable cell phones in stadiums and wonder how we ever made it.

No idea what you're talking about.
and the game will still be close.

It doesn't seem silly though. Trying to get updates on a score is very frustrating, and the stadium updates are often very far behind. Having in stadium wifi would help tremendously.

There's your sign. He still thinks he is coaching LSU.

Saban needs to chill a bit and realize some ppl drive several hours to and from games. If it's a blowout and ppl can skip a two hour traffic jam just to get to the interstate by leaving a little early then they will.

Wonder how happy the fans will be when Saban leaves early.
Irony...

This is getting really sad.

Well if Bama played someone the fans would stay and watch. Who cares if they shite wreck the sisters of the poor each week.
It was Arkansas. Everyone plays them in the West.

As a fan, I'm not happy either. It's disrespectful to both teams...you're telling them that their continuing efforts are no longer worth watching, that you're bored or disgusted. It's BAD.

If this strictly an issue, where Fans come and sit in these seats, then leave when the team has no way to lose, and start home early, I have no one problem with that. If not being able to come for whatever reason, then yes, they should let someone else go in their place...

Well... yeah. Saban even admitted he doesn't like to run up the score, so you know in a blow out that he's coaching to run out the clock. What's the point in staying and watching that? It is boring and it isn't worth watching any longer.
If you want to keep people in the stands then keep playing the game, even if it is with the scrubs in.

I see your point...but it still feels wrong to leave without cheering for your team's winning effort at the end of the game...and possibly even the chance to honor your opponents efforts (however overmatched they may have been). It's rude to dismiss someone's best efforts. It's basic sportsmanship not to turn up your nose at the losers.

I usually agree with Saban, but this is ridiculous. Bama is selling out every game. Fans are showing up to support the team every game. If it's a blowout, people are going to leave early. Get over it. I'm not going to stick around and watch 3rd stringers try not to score so they don't piss off Saban. I'd rather beat traffic or hit a bar up.
Posted on 10/24/13 at 2:05 pm to Bamaal
Saban knows the score. The intensity of his fan base's support is the only thing keeping his empire together. Once that fades away how can alabama ever compete? Soon college football will be like every other thing in the entire universe with texas dominating alabama.

wow, another post about Bama from an lsu fan?
A) It happens both ways. Don't be an idiot.
B) Don't act like most of you gumps don't jack your little dicks when someone talks about Bama. Bitching about the attention you crave is all part of the game, isn't it?
C) Relevant to OP, he should be pissed. I hate seeing empty stadiums.

Well at least we know now that he isn't heading over to tu then. Quietest group of 100,000+ in the country that leave early every game.
