LSU barely got a slap a on the wrist for having an asst coach PAY THE RENT FOR A JUCO TRANSFER! Why should Bama expect any more?
because the LSU player never participated in a football game, that's why. pretty big difference. alabama played an ineligible player. it's pretty simple actually

Ha Ha has already paid back the money. The coach will be fired, Ha Ha will have to sit for 2-4 games not unlike the Dareus situation a few years back, and voila! The Tide rolls on.

Yeah withdrawing 500 dollars is not proof that he was paid back.
Regardless, this is ridiculous. I always worry about rogue boosters because you can only control them so much. But a fricking coach?
I'm not going to say he should be fired on the spot, because I assume it's a matter of protocol (i.e. you can't fire him on the spot).
Most Alabama fans would be having a field day with this if it was Auburn or Tennessee.

Bottom line: If Ha-Ha is needed in the line-up, he will be back.

how long has this dude been a coach there?... curious if this is the first and only instance he loaned players money... regardless, coupled with the stuff from a few weeks ago, looks bad.

and lets not even bother getting in to how dirty their recruiting is.

So this comes out when they get to their brutal October part of their schedule?

LSU fired the coach, never played the player, and forfeited 2 scholarships for 2 years. The player never regained NCAA eligibility and finished his college career in Canada.

His bank records tell the story, dude. They would have a date and time for the withdrawal.
