How long until A&M considered SEC equals

Obviously A&M is still the new kid on the block. We still see posts like "You would would be undefeated and in the National Title game in the B12 this year."
Question is how long do you think it will be until A&M is talked about as SEC equals where the B12 days aren't brought up?
Is it 5 year? 10 years? 20 years? Or will it take A&M winning a Conference or National Title?

That would probably be a good start.
Win a couple more Cotton Bowls this decade and you can be on par with Ole Miss.
Do y'all have a SEC Western Division Co-Champs banner yet?

I will never consider you equals. Texas is not the Southeast.

The honest answer is that you're close already, but the flood of bravado and "Texas superiority" has resulted in more resistance than normal.
We are all surprised and impressed with your first year performance, but it's impossible to like the "JFF" crap. So I can't speak for everyone, but I've set my respect aside for the time being and look for you to get 2 or 3 more losses to calm you the f*ck down.

A&M could go undefeated for the next 5 years winning every NC and some SEC folks would not consider them equals.
For most though it will take winning an SEC Title and a NC. For some it will take less.
As it is though I wouldn't worry about it, the idea of "acceptance" by other schools that naturally want to beat you is a warped concept. Besides, we are Texans and Aggies, who give a flip about what anyone else thinks?

Honestly we have behaved better than I thought we would.
So many say they would have prefered it, but yall would die if Texas would have joined instead. Our arrogance but on roids with a sense of entitlement on top. They would be telling Bama how to act.

To which teams, exactly? There are some significant differences when comparing the big six to everyone else. I would start with at least winning the SEC a few times.

I feel like Aggie fans bring up their SWC and BigXII days more than SEC fans when talking about UT and program relevancy.
If A&M goes on a run like Saban/Bama have, they'll be equals in less than five years. If it takes you two decades to win the SEC twice, then you may not be considered equals for a while.
I have no doubt A&M will get there, but relax a bit, it's not like State, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, and Arkansas are bad company to keep.

Since the vote on whether Arkansas and USCe are SEC equals isn't scheduled until 2025, A&M is just gonna have to be fricking patient. Day-um. Y'all are like eager bunnies on meth.

Why are you worried about it? What kind of insecurities run through Aggy brains that they constantly needing some form of validation. Sad really.......
