Their defense looked great. Let everything play out before we make any judgements. Obviously there was a deficiency in the past few years with how the OFFENSE performed at LSU.

Watching the game too. Mike Evans bailed out Johny so many times it's unbelievable

Mike Evans: 5 rec, 40 yards, 0 TD
Ryan Swope: 11 rec, 111 yards, 1 TD
Manziel: 92 rush yards, 253 pass yards

Yep, Evans was the difference maker

Agreed. It's good that some of those lower end football games get picked up, but it's excellent for SEC basketball and baseball.

texas A&M, etc are only diluting the SEC by winning its bowl game, stealing a top coach here and there, and finishing with a Top 10 recruiting class.

I think it'll be a tight one for 3.25-3.5 quarters, and TAMU opens up some breathing room down the stretch.

2012 A&M v Bama version 2.0

A&M gets ball & scores, 7-0
Arky drive stalls
A&M gets ball & scores, 14-0
Bert tries to pass, INT
A&M FG, 17-0

Arky hangs tough rest of the game but can't close the gap, but A&M wins by 9-10.
I see this game playing out like A&M-Bama 2012.

A&M gets ball and scores
Arky drive stalls
A&M scores again, 14-0
Bert tries to pass, INT
A&M FG, 17-0

Arky hangs the rest of the game but can't close the gap. A&M wins by 9-10, but never less than a TD margin.

Who is Malcolm Kennedy?

Game winning/sealing TD against Bama in 2012.

3 TDs against Bama in 2013.

Bama, of all people, should know who Malcolm Kennedy is.

re: Weakest OOC schedule in SEC?

Posted by DRE06 on 9/6/14 at 9:01 am
A&M has historically had a great OOC schedule.

Arky is supposed to be our big OOC game but that became a conf game.

Notable OOC games:
Notre Dame (2000, 2001)
Virginia Tech (2002, 2003)
Pitt (2002, 2003)
Utah (2003, 2004)
Clemson (2004, 2005)
Miami (2007, 2008)
Arkansas (2009, 2010, 2011)

I'll go out on a limb and say over the 10 year period from 2000-2010, that the A&M OOC was the best out of all the SEC teams. A&M fans got to see some awesome OOC home games and make some great road trips.

We'd be happy to play Texas but they are pussies. We start a 2 game series with Arizona State next year. Then UCLA in 16/17 and Oregon in 18/19.

They didn't try to run enough last night to indicate if it could be shut down.

Not including runs by Kenny Hill, A&M RB's rushed 31 times for 163 yards and 4 TDs. Average of 5.25 yards per carry.
38 minutes in and we get the first Tebow blessing.
Can't ever remember seeing a pitcher at this level struggle to throw a strike this bad.

There's the 5th walk.

The A&M/USC game is going to be a clinic in great O-Line play. Wouldnt be shocked to see zero total sacks in that game.

Well....this is A&M's defense we're talking about.
Lots to love about ol' Bret

The entire SEC loves to play against his teams

re: How are the expansion projects coming?

Cool. I haven't followed this thread.

I could just see how if someone looked at our new south endzone and think we weren't building any new suites in our new stadium.

LSU renovated/added 1 end of their stadium. (Is that right?)

A&M completely gutted and renovated their entire stadium.

The premium seating is on the east & west stands (sidelines) along with the existing suites and Zone Club that already exists in the North stands.

The new South stands is the only side that is 100% general seating.

Below are the new suites and club areas being added to various areas of the new Kyle Field

Completely disagree.

Inter-state rivalries
Army-Navy
Ohio St - Mich
Texas - OU
Georgia - Florida
USC - ND

All of those matter and are games that draw a huge National Audience.

Nobody cares about Bama-Tenn.

A&M isn't in the South, it's in Texas.

FIFY.....and don't forget it.

Texas is bigger, better, smarter, and wealthier than the rest of the South.
