So they'll melt the frick down and get trolled relentlessly. That's acceptable too.
Until they go run to daddy (ESPN) and tell on you.

So after they (hypothetically) go winless in the SEC, we'll get to see them melt the frick down and get trolled relentlessly over and over again every week?
No, they won't stick around for the trolling like we do. They would just spend their time trying to frick with everyone else's fun, like try to clean up recruiting or up the academic requirements for the league. I have already seen them comment on Shaggy that they need to join the SEC to clean the SEC up now that we share a state.

the ags will always been seen as starfrickers and cowards for attempting to use our conference to elevate themselves above their real competition.
there are too many built-in handicaps for tamu to overcome in gaining real acceptance from the true southerners who make this conference and the environment around it what it is. You'll never fit in. You might win a few football games, but you'll never be one of us.

Trying to give an honest answer here. I think others have hit the nail on the head.
So, the answer has little to do with the rest of the SEC and more to do with Texas A&M. When A&M feels that they are part of a fellowship of football greatness in the SEC conference to take great pride in and not a seperate, rogue, rebellious newcomer who is here to stake the Texas flag and proclaim Texas might then perhaps you'll feel like you've been accepted as equals.
So in order for A&M to feel equal, they must feel equal.
It's funny, because before last season the A&M attitude was perfect. Humble, grateful, excited, etc. It was the Mizzou fanbase that came with all the chest pumping and "we're going to show you" attitude. That has reversed. Since you have been successful it has morphed into an opportunity to drive that Texas stake in the dirt and let it be known.
It would happen to any fanbase. A&M isn't different in that regard. Just need to be humbled a bit on the field is all.

That's fine. When the ESPN authorities sign up for SEC Rant accounts in order to chastise us, they'll get the frick trolled too. After the first empty suit is convinced to make his introductory post on the O-T Lounge and accidentally posts personal info, I doubt too many more will venture over.

tRant would somehow uncover recruiting improprieties at Texas, leading to the intellectual heir of ATPB going Over 9000 pages and resulting in a Sports Illustrated article and NCAA investigation.
tRant staaaaaaaaaacked
Texas FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKED.
Book it.

Attempting? More like succeeding!
We have taken the SEC brand across our state and greatly increased our recruiting output.

I know what you mean.
Southerns are passionate about their football, but outsiders see their priorities and traditions as weird.
We will never fit in.

A lot of that was because how much we were beat down, by both SEC folks and Big 12 folks, that "the move was a mistake, you will never win a SEC game, you will be a bottom dweller in that league forever."
When we were given an opportunity to prove the haters wrong early on, we jumped all over it.
You really don't know what kind of crazy stockholm syndrome we have dealing with Texas for so long. If anything our quiet beginning was the real fricked up part.

No ranter would love that more than me!!!
Put me in the category that they couldn't change shite, but lord they think they can. I have had one tell me the SEC would let them keep the LHN, and would kick us out if they asked.
I tell you, we are the humble Texans.

So by beating bama and still ending up 3rd in the west is proving the "haters" wrong? Thats a State/OM mentality if I ever heard one

Poor thing. I know you feel threatened by A&M, but you don't have to resort to this level of dumbassery.

Actually yes. Losing to UF by 1 point in our first ever SEC game. And dropping a close game to LSU. Going 11-2 on the year, was a fricking shock to not only Aggie fans, but SEC fans in general. Denial of this is futile. You all expected us to be 6-6 (as you should have).

you'll be removed from the SEC in 2024 and replaced by Texas

Wanna bet?
Didn't think so.

Why would you ask this question?
Who cares whether anyone here considers us equals?
What did you think these nimrods would say?

Sure when you are expected to not win a single SEC game.
The problem is you only see one side - the SEC side. Honestly the SEC side was pretty nice, something like "well you will suck at first but maybe one day compete."
What we got from our exes every day was way worse. To help them feel better about how we abandoned them in that shitty conference, I can't tell you the mean shite that adult men told me in real life: "Yall will be crawling back in five years with no SEC wins" or "Hope you enjoy being Miss St's bitch" or "Your recruiting is about to go in the shitter as we shut you out in Texas for exposure."
That is the standard we exceeded, not the one given by the SEC. It will take at least another year to begin to think like a big time SEC team and not some Big 12-SEC mutant. The new stadium will help.

I am not on the winning the SEC or National title actually.
I would suspect back to back wins against LSU and/or Bama AFTER JFF is gone.
If you take away the mystical/lottery type of success aTm has had with him, you're left wondering what they are made of for the long haul.
DO I think aTm can get there without JFF? Sure......but, keeping Sumlin is key to keeping the recruiting solid.
btw, you can mention a new recruit at QB all you want, but until he comes in a proves his abilities (as JFF has done), its all just potential. While a punk arse kid, JFF is a once in a life time talent.

Honestly, it may never happen. Winning will quiet some critics, but there will always be some who use the fact that A&M is new to criticize them. The old SEC guard is like an incestuous family trying to keep their secrets safe and they don't want anyone new within earshot of the clanging skeletons in their closets.

Then when we do well it will be "Lets see how you do when Sumlin is gone next season," year after year.

just letting you know, cramps.
keep telling yourself it's dumbassery.
and also keep telling yourself that others are threatened by your being part of our conference
was a perfect aggy response, actually.
