When I was in high school I went to see George Clinton and Pfunk play in the Tad Pad... Smashing Pumpkins played there too back in the mid 90s but they only played liked 8 songs... Billy Corgan said some bad things about Oxford and Ole Miss into the microphone... They crowd threw some empty whiskey pints at the band and they quit.

Not only that but Coleman Coliseum has also hosted Led Zeppelin, Allman Brothers, Tom Petty, and Jimmy Buffett among others.

Louisiana killed Jim Croce too... He had just performed in natchitoches, LA at Northwestern State Univ... His plane didn't gain altitude quickly enough at takeoff and it hit some pecan trees at the end of the runway... So sad.
Yeah, I used to watch the shite out of Behind the Music on VH1.

Guns N' Roses
Rolling Stones
Paul McCartney

Farm Aid was held there in 96 with Hootie, The Beach Boys, Martina McBride, Willie Nelson, Jewel and something called a John Conlee(?)
And in 87 we had the Pope in house... that's a concert, right?

In 1970 Billy Graham visited Neyland for a 10 day crusade that drew tens of thousands every evening. President Nixon and Johnny Cash also appeared in Neyland during Graham's crusade in Neyland.

The last concert to take place at Neyland was when Kenny Chesney was the headliner of a show in '03 that included the supporting acts of Brooks & Dunn, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, and Deana Carter
I would've loved to see that. Love Kenny & see him every chance I get.

And to add to that if we're talking The Coliseum / Colonial Center other notable acts such as KISS, Usher, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Britney Spears, and Taylor Swift have also been in SC venues.
