They should try playing Arkansas State in Jonesboro if they're so tough.

I'm in no way saying it's going to happen... but if you guys lose I'm going ahead and trademarking "Jonesboro Massacre" for T-shirt purposes... Just FYI.

I am committing to the University of South Carolina???????? #Gamecocks #WeCocky???? #blessed All glory to God????.

Why all the question marks? Is he going to be this indecisive in the pocket?

QB without a doubt. I'm expecting Mariota, but I've been fooled plenty of times.

Cammie Cam and Famous Jameis in the same division would be epic, though...

I have been rough on dylan this year but i wanted to say that td pass to mike davis was an absolute thing of beauty. He escaped preasure, rolled to his left and threw againt his body ( and admitted after the game thats a no-no) and delived a catchable pass right to m davis numbers.

I think that's one of the things that was most infuriating this year, and not only with Dylan. They would have these flashes of amazeballs plays and then follow them up with complete shite shows. Lack of consistency this year was by far the biggest factor in the outcome of this year.

South Carolina roads suck I'm this dumb shite now. Even GA > SC

Don't blame the roads... you were a dumb shite long before now...

Agree and listing Mizzou/kU first, IMO is correct. Whereas most rivalries are based on sports, Mizzou/kU isn't. Both states have hated each other for 170 years and will until the end of time.

Or until one of you goes to another conference... then it's just not that big a deal anymore... amirite?

Yes, I never wrote that bowl games didn't count, and I wrote the timeframe as a date range. The infraction in question occurred during that time frame and the player will miss a game as a result. So we are already at 1 and the year is not done yet.

But that makes it sound like your going to any games missed for next year. In that case I really undershot my guess.

Think he proved that he deserves to be on an NFL roster spot.

14/28 - 177 yds - 1 INT - 1 Fumble - 4 Sacks
7 Carries for 9 yds (including sack carries/yds)

Hell... with those stats he proves he deserved to be the 22nd pick of the first round...
Does this one really count? I thought it was just for the first game of next year...

Thoughts on Davis vs Wilds in this game?

Umm...

quote:

And before you anoint Davis to greatness for having back to back 1000 yard seasons, shouldn't he actually get the last 73 yards he needs to reach that mark?
quote:

LOL. Wilds probably missed just as much time hurt as Davis did.. Our OL underachieved massively. You think Dimarco Murray is just a different guy this year, or he is killing it because he has an awesome OL?? Just don't see the need to bash our first RB with back to back 1000 yard seasons since George Rogers.

ETA: its also a little easier to gain rushing yards on the zone read when Connor Shaw is a threat, compared to Dylan Thompson. Comparing last year to this year with a different OL and QB is asinine.

Right... This O Line returned all but one starter. Wilds YPC went from 5.1 to 5.6 and Carson's went from 4.2 to 7.3... only Davis' went south. And not having Shaw to steal carries should mean that he would have a lot more chances to carry the ball, but he's actually behind his numbers from last year as well. And before you anoint Davis to greatness for having back to back 1000 yard seasons, shouldn't he actually get the last 73 yards he needs to reach that mark? Something he hasn't done in the last four games... One of those against South Alabama...
quote:

Questioning heart and saying you are relieved be won't be back next year are 2 different things. Sorry but Wilds isn't close to the back Davis is.

Davis this year isn't close to the Davis you seem to have in your head from last year. Sorry you can't see that. I would take Wilds over Davis every time and be happy about it. But I think next year is going to be DW's coming out party, so it's all good...
quote:

Hate to say it but you are right. Its ridiculous. I mean of all the players they are bashing Mike Davis.. Yeah he comes off the field at times... It because he is fricking hurt. He runs physical, that's what happens.

Davis has all the ability to excel, but doesn't. His physical style is going to give him nicks and bruises, but it's the same style he ran with last year when he was averaging nearly a yard per carry more. It's not all that ridiculous to question his heart... a little telling that those three GIFs earlier in this thread are all from last season...

NFL Coverage Map NFL knows what's up. Putting the Browns/Ravens game in Columbia.

How accurate is that? DirecTV still showing the Chargers/Chiefs game on their online guide.

I'm in the finals in three of my four leagues and winning so far. So fingers crossed. In my keeper league it was a rebuilding year, but I've got some good material for next season... so I have that going for me...
