1. Louisiana State
2. Miss. State
3. South Carolina
4. Vanderbilt

7. Texas A&M

Really all but the bottom 3 were in post-season or had a good chance to make it to post-season (UK and AU.)
And the top 5 ended the year as CWS-caliber teams, and we could end up with 3.
Six different SEC teams were ranked in the Top 5 during the year.
Great year for the SEC.

South Carolina only three? I know they could be eliminated today but they have been really good recently and are still alive.

Same amount of finals appearances as lsu, 2 titles, and holder of several NCAA tournament records and only 3? Oh and more cws appearances than MSU.

Hopefully Scott Striklin will have UGA trending up next year....

He's ranking them based on this year alone.
"Programs" confused me too.

Does this ranking consider this year only?
If so, then I am ok with the list as of today.
If it is all time....I think SC is no. 2.

If they make Omaha again today it's quite an incredible run they're on.

pretty sure he means right now or this season. state took three of four from SC and is already in Omaha.

He has to mean this season, that's fine.
Indiana is a top 8 program nationally, by this logic.
