Recently, QB has been the biggest for us.
Hopefully the next one continues the streak.

UGA is known for running backs. The legacy of Herschel.
We've had better QBs and pass rushers recently, but those aren't the legacy positions at UGA.

Bart Starr, Joe Willie Namath, Ken Stabler, Freddie Kitchens... gotta be QB for Bama.

I wouldn't say ole miss has any particular unit that stands out over the other, but we do have pro bowl caliber players at WR, QB, LB, OL in the league.

You can add DL to that list. CB has struggled as of late. Pretty well rounded otherwise.

Cornerback maybe? (Smoot, Banks this year)
Secondary is always pretty tight.
This one cost you

Not counting success in the NFL, QB's and WR's I would say.

I feel like you may be missing some ... or maybe they are out of the league now? But you're right, we've put a ton of guys in the league in the secondary. There was a time not long ago when our 2nd-teamers were being drafted out of our secondary.
I just thought of another one ... Jermaine Harris, Franco's nephew. There are some others, but their names are escaping me at the moment. Oh, Ko Simpson.

Yup, we've been called Quarterback U for a little bit now, even by national media. It's certainly fitting, it's just too bad Franklin had to kind of disrupt that trend last year with all his injuries. Hoping he's back to full form this year. Either that or Mauk smokes it

All-time:
LB (Lee-Roy Jordan, Cornelious Bennett, Derrick Thomas, Rolando McClain, Demeco Ryans, CJ Mosley will be on this list after next season)
Recently: tie between DB and RB

Did my own count....
Current LSU players in NFl, by position:
DL - 9
LB - 3
DB - 10
OL - 3
RB - 5
TE - 1
WR - 5
QB - 1
P - 1
I guess DL and DB right now.

The only one Florida can really claim is LB U
(Maybe DB U of late).
