The linebacker U thread got me wondering. I
I would say uga is known for their qbs, tight ends, pass rushers (defensive ends like pollack but its now olb like jarvis, houston, jordan jenkins)

All time or right now? You talking just college production or college and pro?

For a while there we had sort of a running back U thing going on. Willie Mcclendon, Herschel, lars tate, rodney hampton, tim worley, garrison hearst, robert edwards, knowshon, etc.

Running backs of course.

Although most of our Heisman winners are quarterbacks.

It can be both. For example pollack got hurt and never did anything in the nfl although he was a great pass rusher. And I agree with you on the running backs, but you left out da crow

I wasn't sure, if both you can throw in Terrell Davis although he didn't do anything in college.

I'd say we're pretty well known for our kickers and DBs through the years.

It doesn't count if I can't name a single player from your school's football program. This board is more for uga, bama, lsu, auburn (history not now ), Usce (their d line has been good lately), florida, and TAMU

I will just point out that Auburn CAN beat a Steve Spurrier coached team, even when sort of down.

Carry on.
